Farmhouse Cobbler Bin From Thrifted Find – Prodigal Pieces
Larissa found a very primitive bin today… it was covered with Noah’s Arc wallpaper! She especially loved it because it was made of solid wood (she is not a lover of plywood!). She snatched it up and proceeded to work her magic on it which you can check out on her blog. In the end she created the most awesome Vintage Style Cobblers Bin that is decorative … can be used as a small bench for kids and has great storage. It does not even resemble what it was! Amazing!
Coffee Bean Vintage Vanity Makeover – Salvaged Inspirations.
WOW… Denise outdid herself with this one! This Vanity in the beginning had fabulous bones but it was very worn… scratched and not camera ready! Then the process began (the choice of Coffee Bean Chalk Mineral Paint) was the most brilliant move… I mean… just look at that finish. Denise shares the full technique right down to the Water Misting Spray Bottle and the Cheetah Transfer that you will find when you open the drawers. This is a must see. Can’t you see this finish on one of your upcoming makeovers???
Painting the Smalls – Confessions Of A Serial DIYER
It’s all about the “small” things today! Come and watch as Christy transforms an iron cookbook holder… candle sticks.. a candelabra…and Angel and much much more. Ah the POWER of Paint!!! You are going to love each and every piece. I always love seeing these kinds of projects because they are so simple and they actually show you some items that you would have passed by… but now that you see how they turn out… you just might give that not so pretty piece a chance and be very HAPPY you did!
$25 Thrift Store China Cabinet Makeover – Confessions Of A Serial DIYERS
WOW… Christy was busy this week. We have another treat in store for you! She took a dated China Cabinet with it’s share of scratches and missing hardware and turned it into a Modern Cottage Farmhouse Style Cabinet that is simply fresh… fun and fabulous! You just won’t believe the change! LOVE IT!!! Come and see how she did it and be totally inspired. LOVE the use of stripes for that perfect little punch.

Farmhouse Style Wall Pocket for Flowers – Homeroad
Susan came across a wooden scoop at her local Thrift Shop and knew she had to have it. First… she used it in it’s original form as a backdrop to one of her depression glass projects and then… it got a fabulous Farmhouse Makeover! She created a striped fabric pocket… added hardware and flowers and VOILA… a picture perfect piece! She will show you exactly how it came together so you can recreate one if you run into a scoop!
$8 Ladder Back Chair Makeover – Artsy Chicks Rule
Nancy is back with a super simple… one product makeover! She found this fabulous Ladder Back Chair but was not too keen on the stain of the wood. With one product it was totally transformed and now looking just the way she wanted it too! Check it out!
How To Apply Stencil Texture to Painted Furniture – Salvaged Inspirations
Denise is back and she has something special to share with you. She is going to show you how to apply textured stencils to painted furniture and let me tell you … the results are amazing. You can take the most simple piece and put it straight over the top! A little… a lot… you are in control! You just might like an ornate corner… or maybe a little something on each drawer… or you might like to go al out like Denise did. Whatever you decide… it is going to look incredible. I would like to do a coffee cart and have it with some kind of coffee scene! Have fun.
