Well Lucy from Craftberry Bush is back with one of the most charming ways I know of to add the beauty and charm of Spring. Simply get a pretty wicker or straw tote…grab your favorite blooms and arrange them in a glass vase and place into the tote. When I did it I packed the flowers into the vase tightly for less leakage and I also put a double face adhesive on the bottom and attach to the tote for more security.
Here’s one you probably didn’t think of but Rachel over at Maison de Pax did…how about taking your wood furniture back down to a Raw Wood Look? OMG…you will not believe the difference in this piece she did. It literally went from drab to Contemporary Farmhouse Fab! (I think that should be a name of a home decor style…don’t you : ) All kidding aside…the look is clean…crisp…modern yet oh so Farmhouse! Come and see the before to appreciate the after. Oh I LOVE this idea! Shades of Blue Interiors added some colored pieces of glassware on her Kitchen’s Open Shelving. She chose to focus on a gorgeous blue look but you might like blue…maybe some rose…how about a touch of green…yellow…lavender and beyond. It’s a quick and easy way to add freshness and to be honest with you…colored glass is so much fun to collect. Next time you are at a Flea Market…a Thrift Store…a Garage Sale…you can keep your eyes peeled for those pops of colored glass!
