I love visiting Larissa from Prodigal Pieces. She always has the most fresh and fabulous creations all made from Thrifted finds of all kinds. Recently she got a haul of “wood stuff” and she is sharing one of her pieces that she made with the “stuff”. Here is her Cottage Farmhouse Recipe Box. There is a quick video waiting for you to see how it came to be! You will be totally inspired and leave with plenty of ideas!
Christy over at Confessions Of A Serial DIYER has been working on one of her Thrift Hauls and she is sharing 3 Projects today. First a Cottage Farmhouse Style Mirror Makeover (how dreamy is this) and 2 others that you will find when you visit. She shares exactly how she did it and what she uses. Be inspired and enjoy!
Do you ever run into cabinet doors in your Thrift Shop? If you do… snatch them up and then run over to Homeroad because Susan is going to show you how to transform it into an amazing Farmhouse Style Chalkboard. Looks great in natural wood… stain… a paint treatment and more! You are going to love this tutorial and you are going to love the results even more.
Do you happen to have an old yardstick in your collection of Thrift Store Finds? If you do… Carlene over at Organized Clutter has a super quick and easy project for you. All Thrift Store Makeovers should be this simple and look this amazing! This Photo Display can be used vertically and horizontally. Display photos… postcards… notes and more. Carlene also reminds us that you can also use a new yardstick and age it a bit in case you can’t find the real thing. Love it!
Here’s another really cool thing to do with Yards Sticks! Heather from Twin Dragonfly Designs was able to score a nice bunch of yardsticks from her Thrift Store and she made an awesome DIY Yardstick Mirror. She is going to show you how to put it together so you can make one of your very own. It has great Farmhouse Style and I know you will enjoy the easy method.
Come and see how Lora over at Craftivity turned a run of the mill Thrift Store Basket into a Farmhouse Beauty! It’s so simple but yet so wonderful. I believe that there is a Farmhouse Basket within every basket and Lora just proved it! Get the DIY and work your magic on the next basket you find.
If you happen to come across some crutches in the Thrift Store and hopefully you don’t have a broken leg : ) still consider putting them in your cart because I do believe there is a pretty amazing piece waiting to be made. You will find more about it over at DIY Cozy Home!
My heart fluttered a bit when I saw what Katie from Bower Power made from a 14 dollar cabinet she found at her Local Thrift Shop. It’s magical…you have to stop by for the step by step and you will be amazed that something so ordinary…worn and plain can turn into this!!! It makes me a believer that everything is a frog waiting to be kissed (no offense to frogs…I love them just the way they are but you get what I mean : )
Angie over at Knick Of Time knocked her Thrift Store Makeover today out of the park! Come and see how she transformed a very damaged Thrift Store Chair into this fabulous Grain Sack Typography Chair. See how she worked her magic!
You are going to want to go find a Thrift Store Filing Cabinet once you see this one over at Repurpose and Upcycle! The cabinet was really in the shape where you would just throw it away! NOW look at it! What a little bit of imagination… frames and hardware can do! Check out the whole project… it’s great and so doable.
