It’s time to grab yourself a cup of something yummy and take time to sit back and enjoy a wonderful
Cottage of the Week
starring the
the cozy and loving home of
You are all in for a treat.
Before we knock on the door
I would like to have Jennifer introduce herself to you…
I would like to add a few things…Jennifer is a an amazingly creative soul…everything she touches seems to turn into gold. I have been a huge fan of hers…quietly watching her bloom and when she graciously accepted to have her home featured on
The Cottage Market
I was simply over the moon about it. So without further ado…
KNOCK KNOCK!!!
It looks like Jennifer has a warm brew waiting just for us.
I usually save my favorite for last…but I just can’t this time…welcome to Jen’s kitchen
Now for this amazingly fabulous hutch …in one of the most delicious colors in the world…this kitchen puts the “c” in charm.
Let’s zoom in on the hutch to give you an even better look…cottage style at its finest.
Old and new are weaved together perfectly.
Jen’s accessorizing in my opinion rivals that of anthropologie.
Let’s take our cup of coffee and sit back for a bit in the Breakfast Nook. How incredible is this space.
A dreamy and creamy table that was refurbished
by Jen…check out those “dip-dye” legs…this home is “kissed” with special little touches everywhere. The bold fabric gives the room just the perfect amount of pop and …
that mirror…what can I say.
This lovely space leads to one of Jen’s pride and joys…
her special little creative corner as you can see by the best
hand made sign out there that this is Mom’s Work area!
There’s more…this space include shelves that have a place for everything and everything is in it’s place.
I am almost positive that you have all seen this room on pinterest…
You might have seen it on one of my favorite places…Design*Sponge…and there is no wonder, Jens girl’s room is unique…charming…welcoming…whimsical…fun ….it is more beautiful than a butterfly! By the way all the butterflies featured here were all hand made with love.
Talk about style and a fabulous twist that will take her daughter through her tweens and beyond.
Perfect details but yet ones that stay in budget….like this beautiful pillow that adds major POP is from Target…there are so many more details to check out in this room…
but here is my favorite…the clothesline of artwork…every kids room should have one…I LOVE IT…a budding Picasso don’t you think!
Jen’s blog is filled with befores and afters…which you can check out later…but I had to share this before of the master bedroom…
and now after the magic of Jen…take a visit to see all the details.
Oh and don’t forget to drop by and see the Bath Room redo where you will find details galore.
There is so much to see over at the Jennifer Rizzo blog.
Fabulous art projects…even learn how to make your own rubber stamp…
Learn how to make over a wonderful headboard…
Check out Jennifer’s look booksand see her amazing work.
and then there is
her etsy shop…Jennifer Rizzo
stay tuned…her new line is just about ready!
You can also stay up to date with what is happening with Jen over at Facebook
So sad to see our visit come to an end as we walk out through the entry way...
your visit doesn’t have to end…you can continue the tour right now…I hear Jen’s putting on another pot of coffee!
Thank you so much for having us over…your hospitality was gracious and your home is amazing.

Love this post. Jen’s home has ideas that I know I can incorporate into my own home. I especially love the touches of bead board. Thanks for sharing her with us.

Thank you – I did find some inspiration here! Love the bathroom and the small mirrors on the bedroom wall.
I love the bookshelves/room divider! Great idea to put the board and batten on the backside. I’ve looked at her blog before and ohhhed and ahhed about what she does. 🙂
