Hi there my friends… If you have been craving a little extra cozy in your home… but don’t quite have the time or energy for a big project… you are in just the right place.
As you know I am recouping from a difficult fall and I have an oxygen tank following me everywhere… so there are no major projects happening! But there are some little… inexpensive and cozy things you can do in no time and for a very low cost. Sometimes you are lucky enough to be able to do a little project for no cost at all!
Today we are keeping things simple… easy… and oh so comforting.
Sometimes all it takes is a tiny little corner… a small moment… to completely change the feel of a room. These cozy corners come together in about 10 minutes or less… and they bring that warm… lived in… collected feeling we all love so much.
Let’s take a look…
A Chair… A Throw… A Moment
Find a comfy chair… any chair will do. You can shop the house for one… hit the thrift store… or buy a new one!
Add a soft throw… maybe one with a little texture or a favorite color… and drape it casually over the arm or seat.
Maybe you have a favorite pillow to add… or saw one at the thrift store you wanted to go back and pick up! Just like that… you have created a cozy little spot that invites you to sit… relax… and stay a while.
The Simple Tray Touch
Grab a tray… wood… metal… wicker… whatever you have on hand.
Place a candle… a small stack of books… a pretty little trinket… a special piece that means something to you… a small clock… or a little plant on top.
Set it on a coffee table… ottoman… or even the kitchen counter.
It instantly looks styled… pulled together… and just a bit more special… with hardly any effort at all.
A Sweet Little Coffee Nook
You don’t need a full coffee bar to make something feel special.
Gather your favorite mug… a small jar of coffee or tea… and maybe a spoon or two.
Place them together on a tray or small surface.
Add a printable sign or a tiny plant if you have one… and suddenly you have a charming little coffee moment waiting for you.
A Basket of Comfort
Baskets are one of the easiest ways to add instant warmth.
Tuck a throw blanket inside… maybe a book or magazine… and place it next to a chair or sofa.
How about a beautiful bouquet of faux flowers placed just so inside… and hang it on a doorknob… or even on the back of a chair?

Frame one of your favorite printables… or lean it casually on a shelf or table. Maybe add a set… or even create a small gallery.
You can pair it with a small decorative item or a bit of greenery.
It is such a simple touch… but it makes the space feel finished and personal.

Before you walk away… take a moment to adjust the lighting.
Turn on a lamp… light a candle… or open the curtains.
Soft light wraps everything in a warm glow and makes your cozy corner feel even more inviting.
Creating a cozy home does not have to be complicated…
It is built in these little moments… these small corners… these tiny touches that make you feel at ease.
