DIY Farmhouse Wood Bead Ornaments are what we are making today and I think you are going to have fun making them! With the basic DIY you can create any style you love!
It’s that time of the week again for yet another Holiday DIY… today we are featuring some adorable DIY Farmhouse Wood Bead Ornaments that will make your Tree Merry and Bright. They even add a little jingle!!! They are simple and budget friendly. You could even decorate an entire tree! Come and see how…
Let’s start with the Supplies. You will need a variety of beads to create the drop look. I used 8mm, 10mm, 14mm and 1 inch, ribbon of your choice, jingle bells (the dollar store has them),
First… cut your ribbon. I cut it longer so I have room to work and tie the bottom knot. I go about 9-10 inches… but sometimes I just work with the spool of ribbon and cut as I go. The only thing that is IMPORTANT here is that you cut the ribbon end as shown so you can thread through the beads holes. The ribbon will most probably fray but it doesn’t matter because you will be trimming it any way.
Now simple start to thread your beads… starting with the smallest to the largest…
Keep going… add the large bead and then work from largest to smallest…
now it is time to thread the jingle bell on…
now simple knot the bell to the bottom and trim the excess ribbon.
simple fold the top ribbon over to form the loop (size is your preference… a little drop of hot glue … press and trim.
Make your bow… single or double or you might want triple and then glue the embellishments of choice to the center.
Now glue the bow to the top of the ribbon (trimmed side) and VOILA you are done!!! Time to Hang them UP!
Want a different color? Simple Paint your beads accordingly!
Want a Cottage Farmhouse Look… how about pink ribbon and roses!
How about a more rustic Farmhouse look? Use a darker stain and tie with twine!
Maybe you want a larger ornament… add an additional size bead!
You actually might want a shorter bead… just take one size away! There are so many variations that you can make… please just have fun with it!
