Now more than ever it is so very important to wash your hands each and every time you come into your home. Carrying some Hand Sanitizer is also a very good idea. All of the recipes in this collection are very simple to make and are also very budget friendly. Simple ingredients that are available just about any where. There are plenty of different recipes and I know you will find your favorite one. Please remember to remind the kids and the grown ups when washing their hands to sing the ABC’s or Happy Birthday twice or you can be boring and slowly count to 22! Keep Calm and Wash Your Hands!
I need you all to know that you will find two Hand Sanitizer Recipes that are Kid Friendly… they do not contain the alcohol so therefore they are not as potent as ours… but they are very good at cleaning the hands and making them more sanitary. Just wanted to add that note. When making alcohol based Sanitizers… always use 70 percent alcohol or higher!
One HUGE WARNING… if you use Essential Oil (many hand sanitizers have it in it) PLEASE be careful not to have your kitties and doggies lick your hand. Essential Oils can be harmful to pets. For more information… please check out this article on the ASPCA.
Please NOTE that washing your hands is the number one way to help stop the spread of the virus but it is far from a cure and if you are unable to wash your hands… using hand sanitizer is a very good thing to do. Once again it is NOT a cure but very highly advised. Stock up on basics to make your favorite recipe so you will always have a good supply of what you need.
