I agree. I started eating a plant based diet the beginning of January (not a news years resolution!) and I have never eaten so good in my life. I cook from scratch 90% of the time and it’s just delicious delicious. I do owe credit to the chef who wrote the recipes I follow almost exclusively – Oh She Glows cookbooks. And for those non vegans out there, no, I don’t need my food to look like meat or taste like meat. I want a well rounded menu that tastes delicious.

That is AWESOME Kathleen! I totally agree with you all the way around and I LOVE Oh She Glows too!!! I have a bunch of favorites but Oh She Glows is perfect for the base of everything 🙂 So happy for you!!!! It makes such a difference in the way you feel! I had been Vegetarian for 20+ years and then went Vegan and I felt a big difference! Just so happy for you!!!! Sending hugs and wishes for all thing good!

The post on Jeffrey Wall and his work with seniors touched my heart.
Pip had surgery for IVD when he was 3, and had done relatively well until last week at now age 11 when he started having difficulty with his gait. The vet agrees that it’s another disc, but he seems to be responding to conservative treatment. Thankfully he has not had pain, but he can’t understand why he can’t go on his beloved walks since we are limiting his activity. Now we take him for “carries” and set him down close to areas we think he would be interested in sniffing!
Andrea says
Awwwwww… poor little Pip… they just don’t understand and it breaks my heart but I am thrilled that he is responding to conservative treatment and we will keep our fingers and paws crossed he continues to get better and better! I love the carries… I have been there in my life with my dachshunds. You give him a big hug please! He is in my heart! Sending hugs and wishes for all thing good!
