I just want you to know that our Rescue of this week is doing amazing things in the Ukraine. (This is our second week with them) I do not want to speak of what is happening because we all know and I sped sleepless hours thinking of the animals… the people and the children… I just want you to know ANY help would be appreciated! Friends… I will give you a new update on Alie next week… she is going to need more surgery in another month but she is in good spirits. I have had an unexpected happening here so I am going to be in the hospital for a few things and I will be back for next week and I will fill you in. Please keep the people and animals of Ukraine in your heart… thoughts and prayers. LOVE YOU ALL!!!!! I hope your trip down the rabbit hole gives you a few minutes away from the world events.

Although I read your post on Saturday, I had to take a couple of days to think about all that has been happening to you and Alie, and my own cancer treatments in the distant past. I don’t know any dogs who have had radiation, but the treatments are given over a period of time. They could then be stopped if they are adversely affecting her quality of life. My prayers are with you as you make these difficult decision for your beloved little one. I’ve been giving Pip extra kisses just because!

I think Volodymyr Zelensky is such a huge inspiration for his people and indeed the world! It’s such a tragedy what the Ukrainian people are living right now. So heartbreaking.
I’m sorry you haven’t been well. A stress I know you don’t need. I hope you’re feeling well and on the mend quickly! And Alie too of course!
My boy Gabi has a cold this week (not kennel cough) he’s been having awful sneezing fits for days. I’m sure Kiki will end up with it too since they share water and clean each other’s bowls as well as their general closeness. 🙁
Kiki actually started sleeping on our bed this week! She’s always had the option to since she and Gabi found their groove, but finally decided her space is there too. We already got a bigger couch last month, now I’m thinking we’ll need a bigger bed! 🙂 but, she fell off the bed at 4am this morning, so I’m sure she’ll be squishing in closer tonight! Haha!
