Good morning everyone! How are you. Sure hope all of our friends in Florida are doing ok after hurricane Nicole. The weather continues to be crazy… we had our air conditioning on here in NJ last night once again. All of you know little Alie …well she was panting because it was so hot so the air went on… can you believe that!!! This week we are lending a helping paw to LPDR… Little Paws Dachshund Rescue. They are a wonderful Rescue that help the neediest little long dogs here on the East Coast. They go the “long” road and find them… care for them… get them healthy and find the perfect forever home. A BIG thank you and tons of hugs go out to them for all they do! They are a favorite of our sweet friend of DTRH Debbie and I have to say I too have a big soft spot for the Long Dog!!! Charity of the Week: LPDR Little Paws Dachshund Rescue

Little Paws Dachshund Rescue is an East Coast Based 401 (c)3 exempt nonprofit dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of our little short legged doggie breeds. The specialize in finding permanent homes for dachshunds and dachshund mixes. It is LPDR’s goal to identify abandoned, mistreated, or homeless dogs and verses their treatment and wellbeing while working to find loving owners for those in their care. They strive to make the lives of all dogs better through action, advocacy, awareness and education.
