Not sure if I suggested this organization or not. VOCAL – Voices of Change Animal League in Ocala, Florida is doing so much for Marion County. We adopted our furbaby, Ellie, from there almost a year ago. Check it out.

Hi there Kathleen! How are you. Thank you for suggesting this wonderful Organization. We will put it up as our featured Rescue in 2 weeks… we are going to be donating to California next because they are devastated out there with the fires… but the following week we will shine a spotlight on Voices! Thank you so much for sharing! Sending wishes for a wonderful day and sending hugs and BIG BIG Hugs to Ellie!!!

Love the Rabbit Hole. Here’s the question – what brand of CBD products does your husband recommend? My husband has unbelievably painful back, knee and ankle pain, and he was hoping to try CBD for it, but I am so very nervous about finding a product that actually works and has a reliable dose of CBD in it. Any suggestions??
Andrea says
Hi there Kim… how are you! Well I can tell you that it has helped my husband a lot with absolutely no side effects. This is the one he uses: https://medterracbd.com/products/medoil-cbd-infused-mct-oil.asp#spr-review-13814177 He got the 500ml … we are thinking of getting the higher ml (you take less of course) and it does save a bit of money. He has a big problem sleeping and it has helped that a TON! It’s worth a shot… you can’t loose anything. Just follow the directions for dosages… don’t exceed. We are actually giving Georgia and Alie a dose of HEMP (NEVER EVER CBD) Oil which is made for dogs and it has helped Georgia’s anxiety a lot. Many rescues also use it… but once again… the dogs use HEMP OIL : ) I sure hope it helps your husband… let me know! Sending hugs and wishes for a wonderful day! Hugs…

Gerta is so adorable. Absolutely love the idea of adopting a turkey.
We will also enjoy a delicious homemade veggie based Thanksgiving. Sending prayers for Debra and Lucy.
Debra says
Thank you for all your kindness about Lucy; we certain believe in the power of prayer. She is in liver failure and her prognosis is not good, but we keep hoping and praying. Her little personality is still there. I’m sorry I’m so late but it has been a difficult week with us giving her constant attention. I’ve missed my daily reading of the Cottage Market, but it will be a joy when I can catch up on all the posts. My fridge right now would show I’ve a sick dog in the house with all the foods we’ve been trying to get her to eat. I must have done something right in life because my 2 sons in their 20s don’t feel they need to have the “masculine” stereotypes.
Andrea says
Hi Debra, how are you. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers and a candle is burning brightly for little Lucy. I am so happy to hear that she still has her personality. I hope she has some good time in front of her. She is getting best care ever. I know how it feels to go through this. The one food that always worked for my one dog was … this vegetarian hates to say this but it was filet mignon raw. I would freeze the medallion and then take it out frozen and slice the thinnest of pieces and my precious little Beau would eat it up. Just wanted to suggest that in case it might help little Lucy. I too have a son in his 20’s and he does not have the masculine stereotype at all! I guess we have done our jobs right 🙂 Keeping you in my thoughts and please let me know how little Lucy is doing. Sending HUGE HUGS!!!
