- I just thought the concept of this as really interesting. It’s not a sponsored post or anything like that but I wanted to share it with you. The whole concept of building a Gallery Wall around 3 pieces of art is great. I think it will inspire you if you have wanted to do one. Wouldn’t it be fun to find 3 pieces of your fav art and the build? Take a look at the concept and then let your imagination go!
- This article is truly interesting and raises many questions! I know how precious RBG is to all the readers of Down The Rabbit Hole so I wanted to share this with you. It may not be fair that we put so much pressure on this precious lady… but I for one and thankful to the 1000th power that she is willing to hang in there for us. I don’t think I ever thought I would utter the words that I agree with Rick Perry… but a term limit might just be a good idea in the world the way it is today. I tip my hat (if I was wearing one : ) to Ruth Bader Ginsburg for being who she is and for loving us that much to continue on in this high pressured job! I am happy for her that she beat this last scare! Watch the Stephen Colbert clip… it will make you smile : )
- I for one agree with Leading from Heart!
- So many people ask the question … What do you eat when you are a Vegetarian or Vegan? The answer nowadays… Tons!!! This is a look into the world of Vegan “Junk” food that makes being a Veg… oh so easy. There is something to satisfy every craving without ever hurting another life. As a Vegetarian going Vegan… I have indulged in some of these things and they are SOOOO great! My usual diet consists of tons of Veggies and healthy eating but when you want to cheat… it’s all there… check it out… you just might be surprised!
- I do believe that Europe has one up on the US when it comes to what is or should I say isn’t added to their foods… check it out!
- If you need to relax or just want to escape to the beautiful land of England where there are rolling hills… bridges… Mills… cottages… lakes… Castles that you will feel like you are in Narnia and much more… follow this account on instagram… simply beautiful!
- Breakfast is the most important meal of the day but can be a bit of a pain. Why not try a truly healthy wonderful breakfast to kick off the New Year… even if it is only on weekends! There are so many incredible things to add to this Porridge aka/ Oatmeal. I have even added Kimchi! Fresh Fruit, Nuts, Seeds, Veggies, what ever you love. It will keep your tummy full and warm you up all over! Your heart and your body will say THANK YOU! Bon Appetit!
- I found this brand on Instagram. You will immediately fall in love with these beautiful bandanas & apparel for your furry friend/friends! You are going to LOVE what this NYC company does, they have partnered with Susie’s Senior Dogs, as well as other senior adoption shelters, to help find these overlooked seniors a happy home. They give a portion of all their profits to helping this incredible cause. Remember… SENIOR DOGS ROCK!!!
- This made me cry and smile… it truly is a happy story that will warm your heart. A look into the lives of what others go through is always a learning experience that makes us grow.

Hi Andrea! Happy New Year!
The picture of Ward with the little sweet buddy at the bottom of the click through to Lovely Loaves is absolutely heartwarming. The contentedness of that little lovey on his shoulder could just about bring tears to your eyes! I love the look on a sweet animals’ face when you know they’ve been through so much, but they know it’s over and only love going forward!
On another note, just a teeny quick update on my Scooby boy Gabi!
We’re trying to put a little more weight on him, but he sure is enjoying eating! He’s definitely telling us what he doesn’t like food wise. Someone joked that they thought he couldn’t afford to be picky, but really, HE CAN! I think he is realizing that there will always be a warm, comfy spot for him, plenty of good food, and way more love than he knows what to do with! We plan on spoiling him rotten!
He has been wandering around the house now and then. But I nearly cried yesterday when I was upstairs waking my son, he asked where Gabi was so I called to him with kissy noises, absolutely not expecting him to come to us. When I turned around, he was standing there looking at us! He always gets up and comes to me when I have the leash in my hand, but had never come to us when called!
He’s still terribly shy, especially with people he doesn’t know, and gets scared when he sees someone while we’re out walking, but he’s really a different dog than he was just one month ago. We do have a trainer coming in a couple weeks to help us help him with his fear.
I tell him so many times a day (same as I do with my people kids!) how lucky we are to have him with us!
And, he has gotten me out walking nearly 5 miles a day! (We’ll see how that changes if a proper New England winter ever sets in…)
Anyway, happy weekend to you!
K

I am sooooooooooo thrilled that he came to you guys like that! That is SUCH PROGRESS!!! I am crying I am so happy for you all!!! In 6 months he is going to forget all the bad and become a spoiled brat just like mine did lol!!!! He deserves every bit of it! Wow… look at your walking 5 miles!!! AWESOME!!!! We are so lucky to have our kids and our pups… it’s best to give thanks EVERY SINGLE DAY… I totally agree! Now I am in NJ… so I am kind of hoping that we don’t get a “proper” Winter this year… I am good with a foot at a time but I could really do without the 3 feet and counting!!! LOL!!! Thank you so much for the update!!! Keep them coming. Sending tons of hugs to you … yours and BIG BIG HUGS to little GABI!!!

Will of Strides for Strays ran by about 4 blocks from my house; I wish I had seen his dog and him. What a great effort for a great cause! I am for Supreme Court term limits, but it would mean Ginsburg wouldn’t still be here, so maybe later?!?
