Hi there my friends… how are you today. Hope all is well and sure hope you enjoy today’s links. Our Pet Rescue of the week is SCOOBY Shelter and Sanctuary in Spain. Our friend Karen (faithful jumper down the Rabbit Hole : ) has a little one named Gabi that was saved by Scooby and I thought it was a good time to celebrate how fabulous little Gabi is doing in his new home. They have so many dogs that need rescue and they do everything in their power to save them all. Scroll down for more information and spread the word!!! I have a little piece of advice for everyone… STAY HYDRATED PLEASE! We had such a terrible experience with my husband Joe on Tuesday evening… he totally collapsed… lost consciousness … sweating profusely … simply HORRIFYING. Long story short… he went out in the ambulance and after they took all the test… full blood panel… gave him 3 bags of IV… they diagnosed it as dehydration. So PLEASE drink those 8 glasses of water a day ok! By the way… Coffee and Tea are not dehydrators… but if you are drinking caffeinated coffee… the caffeine is a diuretic so you might loose some water because of that. Just wanted to share that with you… if our bad experience can help anyone that makes me feel better!!!! So… what have all of you been up to? How are your furbabies? LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

Charity of the Week: Scooby Medina
Scooby, shelter and sanctuary, has been providing a home to mistreated and abandoned animals for more than 30 years. It was created thanks to the initiative of a group of women who wanted to do something about the amount of abandoned dogs in the area of Medina del Campo (Valladolid). In the nineties, Scooby brings to light the atrocities inflicted on Spanish galgos and its work is internationalized by Scooby´s current chairman, Fermín Pérez.

Love seeing your emails in my inbox! Thank you so much for sharing your husbands story. I’ve shared it with my loved ones and it’s motivating me to stay hydrated. Best wishes to your family!
Andrea says
Hi there Kim! How are you! You made my day… I am so happy you like seeing my emails : ) Let me tell you Kim… I had to share Joe’s story because it can happen to any one at all! He had just been to the doctor for his physical and came out with shining colors… so we didn’t expect it at all! It was so scary I can’t even explain it to you and I truly thought we were loosing him. So if one person can learn from our experience… then that is a good thing : ) So keep sipping your water and stay hydrated my friend. Sending tons of hugs and love your way! Have an amazing week!!!
