Hi there my friends, how is everyone? Hope all is well. Want to wish you all a very Happy Labor Day… hope you all have a healthy… safe and FUN time! This weeks Charity is: Animal Haven in NY. They are wonderful and lend a helping paw to homeless dogs and cats. We are big Impractical Joker Fans here in my household and one of the Joe Gato just adopted a precious little senior who is blind and has one eye. That is the kind of Rescue Animal Haven is… they take in the most needy… they are truly Earth Angels. Sending tons of love and hugs to you and your fur babies and sure hope you have a wonderful last Summer Party! Love you all and thank you for being who you are. You make the world a better place.

- Bach and Beethoven can sooth Dogs in Shelters that suffer from abuse. I cried and cried… but it is truly a wonderful thing. Thank you to Martin and the ASPCA for always trying to move forward.

- A very interesting perspective on Grief… something all of us suffer with in varying degrees. This is the sentence that resonated with me… It’s an honor to be in grief. It’s an honor to feel that much, to have loved that much. It’s a short read by very powerful.
- If you love tomatoes like I do… you will appreciate this article. Charity of the Week: Animal Haven
Animal Haven is a nonprofit organization that finds homes for abandoned cats and dogs throughout the Tri-State area, and provides behavior intervention when needed to improve chances of adoption. Founded in 1967, we operate an animal shelter in Manhattan. We also provide programs that enhance the bond between animals and people.
Joe Gatto of the Impractical Jokers just adopted this sweet angel from Animal Haven! Her name is Pignoli and she is absolutely adorable!

Hi Kathleen… I hear you .. I wish things were made easier for those of us with pets. Traveling is very difficult. Unfortunately we have not traveled at all for so long now…but they come first : ) I will have to keep my eye out for some cool Pet Resorts… could be your next vacay : ) Sending hugs and wishes for a wonderful day!

My very favorite is Martin Agee playing Bach and Beethoven for the shelter dogs! Those sweet puppy faces appreciating his spectacular gifts!
I try to have some nice relaxing music on for my sweet buddy Gabi, it definitely does the whole house good!
And, I can’t wait to see Little Women when it comes out! (And the Downton Abbey movie as well!)
That was my favorite too Karen! I have to tell you… last Christmas I bought my Shelter a little unit that plays classical music and they pipe it through every night now and she says it makes such a difference for them. So I am sure sweet sweet Gabi would love some Beethoven and Bach for sure : ) Sending tons of hugs to you … the family and tons of BIG hugs for that sweet sweet Gabi!!! Enjoy your day!!!
So much food for thought! I don’t think I could do some of those rides, but I have made it through all the toughest ones at Disney World. Have you seen the video the man in Turkey captured of animals drinking in a bowl of water he puts out? So precious!
