Hi there friends! How are you. Sure hope the week has treated you nicely! How are your fur babies doing now that the weather has turned cold! Ours look for the coat to be put on for sure! Our Pet Rescue for this week is Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge … they are working very hard to build tiny houses on their land for the doggies that do not take to Shelter Life well. It’s an amazing project and this week they have a benefactor that is going to match all donations! I LOVE when I see something like this happening. Oh… I am also really excited because I have started my first Blanket and Coat Drive for my Local Animal Shelter. We have a Toy Drive in our Lake Community and they are allowing me to piggy back the project with an Animal Shelter Drive… how great is that! I will let you know how it goes… it’s happening on the 12th of December. I love when I have some good news. I just want to thank you all once again for being so wonderful!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!!

November 23, 2019 at 12:18 pmMy boy Gabi has a nice wool tweed coat to wear outside when we go out for walks in the cold weather. He doesn’t have the patience to let me take it off though if he only goes out to the yard for a potty break. He rushes straight to guard the couch, by which I really mean, he rushes to warm the couch. He almost never uses any of his beds during the day, only the couch. I did try to make a fleece pajamas for him. But they’re a little snug so the need an alteration 😉
The puppy in the sink bath is sooo cute! – your link to that big dog isn’t working though, and now I’m so curious!
At our house, for probably 15 years, we keep the paper towels under the cabinet and only use them for yucky stuff, otherwise we use dish towels, dish cloths, fabric napkins, and microfiber for cleaning. Our paper towel rolls now last for several weeks each.
And, I LOVE JBJ! I knew immediately you were talking about him! I’ve been a fan since the mid 80s! His was the 2nd concert I ever attended! I have always noticed that he had never been a ‘trouble maker’, which has always made me admire him that much more! It’s so nice to see someone like him (and Nationals pitcher Sean Dolittle) setting good examples for younger (and older) fans. I wish more people in positions of influence would make these kinds of choices!

November 24, 2019 at 7:40 amHey there Karen! How are you… family and my dear friend GABI!!!! So happy that that gorgeous boy is all toasty lol!!! Mine run straight for the couch too! We have beds everywhere but it is the couch they go to ALWAYS!!! There are so many blankets on the couch… you can’t even see it! I am so sorry but bad news… for some reason that video was taken down 🙁 I guess the owner did not want them to share it. It was so funny… this BIG FURRY GUY jumps on his daddy who is on a recliner and it topples over backwards as he continues to bathe his daddy in kisses… it was precious and I am sorry you couldn’t see it : ( I have problems with pj’s with my girls… they just don’t keep the back legs in!!!! We are trying to do the same thing with the paper towels… but those reuseable ones are really pretty awesome. I LOVE JBJ too!!! Hey… I am a JERSEY GIRL so Jon and Bruce come with the territory! Bon Jovi just does so much and the restaurant is wonderful and does so much good. i wish they could be everywhere! Saving the world is possible!!! We do need some more role models that is for sure!!!! I hope you and the entire family have an amazing Thanksgiving and give my friend Gabi a BIG HUG and an extra treat!!!! TTYS!!!! HUGS!
