Hi there friends! How are you! Hope all is well with you and yours!!! How are all the fur babies doing in the cold? We are donating to Ramapo Bergen Animal Rescue again this week. They have been doing absolutely amazing work. A doggie named Reese came into their care about 33 days ago in a condition that NO DOG should ever be in. She was so malnourished she could not stand and scared to the point of shutting down. The situation was sickening and just makes me crazy. Well they jumped into gear and started raising money and Reese has been in the Emergency Hospital for 30 days and has come such a long way… she even gained 4 pounds in one week once she was given the go ahead to be able to eat solid foods… the best news is that Reese got to go home with her new Foster Mom where she will have 24/7 care… she will never be left alone and that is what she needs right now for sure. There are no other pets in the home either. I am just so thankful for these people and their accomplishments… I know I say it all the time… but there are real HERO’S!!! They also got some more pups in that need major care and surgery… so we are lending a helping paw 🙂 I thank you all for being a part of it each week… LOVE YOU ALL and I hope you enjoy this weeks links… it’s a little bit different of a mix… but I hope you enjoy. - On the lighter side of life… what do you do with all those favors you get from showers and weddings and such????? Mine usually make it to recycle to be honest and you feel guilty and it’s such a waste… but I think there is an answer… this is a favor I won’t throw away lol!!!

Hi Lisa 🙂 I do believe that Reese is on her way. She is now in a Foster home with a wonderful Foster Mom that will be with her 24/7… she will now know what love is and she deserves so much of it! Sending hugs and wishes for a wonderful day! I will keep you all updated on this precious Sweet Girl!
Oh my gosh! That poor sweet Reese! I clicked through and saw the update video of her at her foster home. It’s just so amazing to see an animal come through something like that! That they can actually move past such horrible situations is baffling to me! And I for one don’t think I’d be able to foster her, then give her up! I’d want that little sweet angel to stay with me forever! I also love the clip with the weatherman! I love that companies (such as that news station and the previously highlighted hotel) that showcase rescue animals! I also would love to see so much more of that!
I also LOVE the dancing twigs. That’s totally cute! I’ll be looking at the fallen twigs in my yard with different eyes now!
And, I wish you could see how my boy Gabi running around the backyard like a big goofball! When he goes out to do his business, if I say go,go,go, he puts it in high gear and runs his zoomies around the yard! It’s the cutest thing!
I know… Reese has touched our hearts and we really wanted to adopt her but she has to go to a family with no dogs … so it was not a possibility. I am just thankful she is with a wonderful Foster and will have someone with her 24/7 and know love. What happened to her before… well I can’t really deal with it…I cry… I get infuriated and sometimes I just don’t know what to do with my emotions! It should NEVER EVER EVER HAPPEN.I am thrilled that little Gabi is doing so well and is ZOOMING!!!! That is so FANTASTIC… I LOVE ZOOMIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My little Alie was just diagnosed with Hypothyrism and is going to be on meds for life and blood tests ever 6 weeks for life. Then yesterday she had an anal glad abscess explode and needed emergency surgery… so we had a heck of a weekend. She is resting as I type and I am a nervous wreck as always! So hearing about ZOOMIES makes my heart happy!!! Please give my friend GABI a HUGE HUG and tell him that I love seeing him grow!!! Thank you for all that you have given him. I also loved the happy story of Gabi and guess what… 4 Senior Dogs from Ramapo Bergen we on the Dog Bowl and got forever homes… sometimes the news is good and that makes us all very very happy! Never knew dancing twigs were a thing and now I will look at them differently from here on in 🙂 Sending tons of hugs and love to all! Have a wonderful week.

I will never look at a twig in the same way! I wish I could cry easier, usually feel sick instead. No dog should go through what Reese did…
I know Debra… I won’t look at a twig the same way ever either lol!!! I was fascinated by them all… it’s weird what catches your attention and it is nice to not think about things for a moment! What Reese went through SHOULD NEVER EVER HAPPEN… EVER!!! The only thing that gives me solace is that she is now with her Foster Mom and has someone with her 24/7 and knows what love is. I can’t say I have the same problem. I cry and cry too much and feel sick. I hate to be a downer… but when you see this stuff you just have to wonder why. Sending hugs and wishes for a wonderful week.
