Hi friends! How is everyone today. Sure hope you are having a great start to your Weekend. Hope you enjoy today’s links… they are a little bit on the lighter side! It’s been that kind of week lol! This week are lending a helping paw to North West Dog Project… they continue to be absolutely amazing in ever single way. They take in the tough cases… they take in the Senior Citizens… they train… they love… they care… I adore them all!!! They have some major medical problems to attend to… so here we are! We have been having work done to the blog on the so I have not been on the back end that much so I apologize for not answering the comments. I will for sure this week! My hubby took up guitar recently and our girl Ellie goes in the room with him every time he practices. I think she likes both the music and how he talks to himself

Yes to escaping to nature! I hope within the next two years, we’ll find a piece of property with acreage (and abutting conservation land would be a total bonus!) I’d escape to that every day!
I’m gonna have to find someone to make that lime cheesecake for! It looks so good, but I’m (so far unsuccessfully) trying to cut out all suger… hmm..
I love the commercial as well. I wish you’d see that one on tv!
Also, the other day, I was looking at Scooby Medina’s sight (I like to see who has come and gone – I’m always so happy to see one pup be taken off the site, that means they’ve found a home!) And I ended up on their Facebook page. I can view their page even though I don’t have fB because its public. Over the past few weeks, they have gotten in ever 100 dogs. 2 of them, found this past week, at separate times are very tragic cases. Princesa and Rainbow. I have such a difficult time understanding how humans can treat animals this way! To help with their recovery and to assist the rescue I set up recurring donations to them- you are an encourager!
I’m also trying to convince my husband that we have the space for another and have asked after Rainbow. I’m not sure if it will work out or not but I’m hopeful, that one way or another, he’ll find a loving home.
Anyway, we have springtime weather here today, a good day for a long walk with my buddy!
Hey there Karen! How are you… the family and my little friend Gabi!!! Hope all is well! OMG… I will put Scooby up next week. I have a recurring donation to them too but we can do a little bit more next week! I HATE hearing these stories. I can’t believe people do these things… I just can’t… HOW DARE THEY. I don’t understand a lot of things believe me… WHY??? I just don’t think that a large group of people care about animals at all! I mean I put a little meme up on Facebook that had a man and a dog looking at each other and it said I would love to save them all… The only comments I got were to tell me that people matter too? Of course people matter too… that is not the message! People will take time to tell me that???? I am just saying… there is not understanding the human mind because no two are a like… I believe that is why I love this little niche in the huge blogosphere where I “get” everyone and they “get” me lol!!!! I sure hope you are able to bring Rainbow into your world. How does Gabi react to other dogs? I hope and pray that you are able to save another! You are WONDERFUL and so is your family. I also hope you get to make the lime cheesecake (priorities here 🙂 I wish we saw that commercial on tv too!!!! Sending you tons of hugs and love… a BIG HUG to my friend Gabi!!! Enjoy your weekend!
