Hello friends, how are you all? Are you all good? Are you all well? Are you all taking care of yourselves? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know how you are all doing. You are all weighing heavy on my heart as all the people and animals out there are! We are ok here for right now. We are about 95 percent home bound and hoping to get to the point where it is 100 percent. I just hope you are all taking care of yourselves and being as safe as possible. I don’t even know what to do about picking Pet Rescues this month… there are so many that need help in this time of trouble. Rescue Dog Rocks needs extra extra help and they are in NYC … the hardest hit area in the country… so we are sending them the donation this week and hopefully to more. If anyone can even donate $5 to ANY Pet rescue (check out our list below) I know they will be so very grateful. This is a major time of NEED for them too. I want to thank each and every Shelter and Rescue Worker for taking care of all these precious babies. They are hero’s in this time of uncertainty! Thank you all for being who you are and for having such giving hearts. I love each and every one of you and we are sending you all tons of love and hugs. STAY WELL… STAY SAFE!!!

Retired vet helping homeless dogs
Hi Kathleen… sure hope you and your family are well! The Retired Vet won my heart too! Please stay safe! Sending tons of hugs and love!
All fantastic links today Andrea! I can’t pick a favorite! But seriously, that little Rae! And the leaf jumper! Reminds me of childhood! I also love that old Italian grandma! I sent it around!
I am donating to Scooby on a recurring monthly basis. I know they’re not local, but they are dear to me as that’s where we got our boy and they have 400-500 dogs at this point. Like all the rescues at this point, they are getting dogs in every day (104 the other day) and their trips out to other countries have all been cancelled. They are having trouble getting enough to feed so many, but they never turn an animal away.
I hope you and your family are well, and stay healthy. You’ll of course be on my mind. I do appreciate all your great posts!

Awwwww Karen you are so sweet. I am so happy you enjoyed the links. I sure hope that you and your whole family are well and taking care of yourself. How is my little Gabi doing with everyone around all day! I am so so upset for Scooby and other rescues like them. I don’t know when they are going to be able to get the doggies to the states. My heart breaks each and every day on many levels and I feel so helpless. I am just so happy that they never turn an animal away… I mean God Bless them!!! All of these rescuers are my hero’s… they truly are along with all of the other hero’s out there from the nurses… doctors… vets… grocery workers and the list goes on! Please take care of you and your family in these troubled times. I am as secluded as I can be… I have not been out of the house now for almost 25 days and don’t plan on leaving. This is when I am so thankful that we work from home.P lease stay safe!!! Hugs and Love to you always! TONS and TONS of hugs to Gabi!!!
Thanks for the chuckholes Andrea!
You are so welcome Sandy. Sure hope that you and your family are well! Please stay safe!!! Hugs and Love to you always!
Love the dog “not” running the obstacle course! That link also led me to the wirehaired dachshund Maisie who won 2020 Crufts, in spite of having an “accident” when startled by another dog.
A positive to this staying home: I’ve been organizing my house, a chore I usually manage to avoid! Take care
Hi Debra… how are you and your family… sure hope you all are well. Well I am glad that that fabulous doggie lead you down a rabbit hole (i love it when a plan comes together lol) thanks also for sharing because I did not know that a Wirehaired Doxie won… I have been honored to have had my life blessed with 2 rescue wires and they are truly amazing… great to see them get their due! Would you like to come here and organize my house lol!!! My day truly hasn’t changed much… just not seeing the light of day! Please stay safe!!! Hugs and Love to you always!
