Hi everyone! How are you. I hate to be apologizing once again for not answering all the comments… but… we just got power back and we got hit by the storm really hard. Fortunately no one was hurt (thank God) but our 2 1/2 car garage is as flat as a pancake… as is our shed and there is still 30 feet of the tree on our deck (side note… it looks like Jungle Habitat and the squirrels are on the branches eating black walnuts tormenting the dogs lol!!!! Our backyard is destroyed … our drive way is filled with tree remains and part of the tree in on our back roof. I had NO idea how HUGE the tree was. It was so weird… I was at my desk in the studio… all of a sudden the winds picked up big time and then I heard and felt the biggest gust I have ever felt and started to hear crackling and felt a shaking and I screamed out something bad is happening and then CRASH… the tree came down! Even during Sandy it was not nearly this bad. Good news is that Joe did not go to the garage to start the generator up … so there is the silver lining! So needless to say… I am a little bit behind but still wanted to have our regular party… just so sorry I didn’t respond to everyone… but I know you know that we Love and Adore you all!!! OK… this week our Rescue Donation will be going to Rescue Dog Rocks NYC… we won’t go into the details… but the pup is doing better and in very good and loving hands! (Deep Sigh). Sending out love and hugs to our dear little fur baby rescue friend GABI… sure hope you have calmed down and your paws are healing… you are a gift and deserve all things good! HUGS TO ALL!!!

I have been through 2 hurricanes and a tropical storm, and you are right about the “jungle” that’s left. I’m so sorry you are dealing with this! I enjoyed all the pups’ antics; my Pip howled along with the opera singing dog.

I really got sucked into that ourplanetdaily Instagram! So many beautiful pictures! Mostly, it makes me want to go to Australia, Iceland, and Switzerland! Oh, and Scotland is so much on my list!! I’ve decided I’m definitely a forest and lake person! Those sounds of nature – forest, lake, jungle! I would be so happy living with less traffic noise and more nature sounds!
Our sweet Gabi got his ballerino slippers (bandages) off on Wednesday and Friday! He has graduated to doggie trek boots for outside! I can tell he still has some tenderness and sensitivity in his paws (especially one front) but he’s definitely on the mend (as is my daughter – thank goodness!)
I’m sending well wishes to you for a quick repair of your property! I’m glad for sure that everyone is safe!

Sounds like you fell down the Rabbit Hole for sure with the Our Planet Daily lol!!! So glad to hear that my friend Gabi is on the mend poor little guy!!! Keep me posted… can’t wait till everything is back to normal for him! Sending tons and tons of hugs!!! TTYS!!!
