An Eclectic Collection of DIY PROJECTS aka {Down The Rabbit Hole}

Hi there…I use to do a little post when my blog was really young called Down The Rabbit Hole…it was a fun post for me because there are many times that I click …click and click some more in hunt for a collection of fun projects for you but there are times when I find really cool stuff that doesn’t fit and I still want to show you!  So I have brought it back and sure hope you enjoy the random and eclectic collection of DIY Projects and more…you never know what you are going to find…but one thing I hope for is that you enjoy!  So let’s play Alice and jump down that Rabbit Hole and explore! Here is something for you just because…just because why you ask…well just because it is gorgeous!  I am sure that on our way to school or work we won’t pass by one of these walls…but it is nice to imagine that we might…I think I would like to move into this neighborhood and pick up my favorite book and read…this just might even replace the dream of a picket fence! Oh and wouldn’t it make the most FABULOUS backdrop for a wedding or any photo!    DREAM!

Tell Love & Chocolate has a terrific DIY Tassel Blanket…how adorable is this?  She took an IKEA blanket and created something notches above!  Can you just imagine the possibilities …think of the colors you can use…you can customize this beauty to your own style!  I love it.  I do believe we can add this one to the ever growing list of IKEA HACKS!!!  This is one that I am going to make a few of!

What can I say…just look at these Lemon Curd Filled Sandwich Cookies by the one and only Sweet Paul…need I say more!!!!  Oh yes… Bon Appetit!!!

Ok all of you plant lovers out there!  I think you are going to love this extremely helpful piece on How To Pick The Right Plant For Your Space by Design*Sponge! Do you love birds?  Do you love to watch them from your window?  Do you feed them?  Do you want to attract more species?  Well if you do…you have to stop by a little CLAIREification because she has put together such an amazing collection of her own tips and suggests on how to attract more birds!  It is sensational!  I am going to take some of her advice too.  I get a lot of birds in our yard…but one rule I don’t follow is…I FEED THE SQUIRRELS…yep…it’s true…get this…I get 2 HUGE bags every week of bird bread from the Enteman’s Outlet and a GIANT Bottle of Natural Peanut butter and that is the weekly allotment for the furry tailed squirrels!  The birds have their feeders but the squirrels are so full…they don’t bother them : )  My family thinks I am crazy!  But really…check out Claire’s tips…you are going to love them!

Do you know what February is?  It is a month that we GO RED for Heart Disease…Celebrate Valentine’s Day and Presidents Day too…but it is also Spay and Neuter your Pet Month and this subject matter is near and dear to my heart (more on Go Red next week) the reason being is that is prevents animals from suffering…the last think in the world that is needed is unwanted pets…so spread the word and support this worthy cause.  Speak for those that can’t speak for themselves and lend them a helping paw.  For more information…check out

Ok…we will close on a serious note…NOT…but in a way it is totally serious…have you ever wondered what the absolute BEST Way to Reheat a Slice of Pizza is???  No…the answer is NOT microwave : )  Let the kitchn answer this question and I can tell you personally this is the way to go…it works like a charm!  I have been doing it for years!  It’s the best!
