Hi there…I use to do a little post when my blog was really young called Down The Rabbit Hole…it was a fun post for me because there are many times that I click …click and click some more in hunt for a collection of fun projects for you but there are times when I find really cool stuff that doesn’t fit and I still want to show you! So I have brought it back and sure hope you enjoy the random and eclectic collection of DIY Projects and more…you never know what you are going to find…but one thing I hope for is that you enjoy! So let’s play Alice and jump down that Rabbit Hole and explore!  Check out out other down the Rabbit Hole eclectic collections right here.
Let’s start our little journey today over at Laura’s blog…Finding Home. I am in love with how she repurposed this vintage galvanized barrel. Drop by and see how she did it! Prepare to be inspired!
DIY PVC Pipe projects can some times be amazingly fabulous like this creation from Taryn at Design Dining and Diapers! Loving the look!
I happen to be in love with an eclectic look. I think it is because I can never zone in on one style since I love so many of them. Well if you take a trip over to Front+Man…you will experience an eclectic room makeover that is just simply fabulous! The segment is entitled: 5 Ways Dabito Made His Small Living Room Awesome and that he did! Check out Dabito’s 5 essential small living room decorating tips (they work for any space : ) Of course I chose the picture with the dogs…there are tons more and I so want you to check them out…this is only half the space…you have to see the desk…the door and more…you are going to be totally INSPIRED!!!
On yet another eclectic note…check out this scrumptious makeover over at Petticoat Junktion…Kathy shares how her signature piece was created. A piece like this is such a sensational way of adding a POP of color into a room! Keep your eyes peeled for an unassuming piece of furniture that could become that mysterious lady in red!
Talk about eclectic…you have to see what Kris over at Driven by Decor has created! Her home office gallery wall reveal and tips are no short of fabulous. The best thing is is that she shares her budget friendly tips…this is a must see…maybe curating your wall is in your near future!
I bet many of you love the eclectic wall above…well one of the secrets was FREE Printables…so I found this wonderful post over at OhOhBlog…she has collected some amazing and eclectic artwork that is totally FREE! Here is a little sampling…there is plenty more and she supplies the links so you all can snatch up the art you love! ENJOY!!!
Ok…let’s talk chocolate and believe it or not…this chocolate dessert from Matters of the Belly called Decadent Chocolate Avocado Mousse is good for you!!! Yep you heard me…GOOD FOR YOU!!! You can indulge and feel non of the guilt! This is a very heart healthy dessert especially if you add the berries. Oh I am feeling hungry…oh yes…did I mention it takes 10 minutes!!!!
Kind of crushin on these fabulous little marbled clay ring dishes by the master creators over at A Beautiful Mess…how cute are these and they are easy to make and very budget friendly!
I am a bit of an insomniac…so wish I wasn’t…but I am really trying to work on it…when I saw this infographic from Prevention I have decided to work on it a bit harder…so if you are watching infomercials and reruns of Diners Drive In’s and Dives at 2 in the morning…check out this graphic for the reasons we should be counting sheep!
So…let’s talk TV…have you seen the new sitcom that has joined the ABC FAMILY? It’s Fresh Off The Boat and it is hysterical! It is a half an hour of sheer fun and guess what…you are going to love everyone in the show…how often does that happen! If you have a spare 30 minutes…give this one a try! It’s on Tuesday Night before Agents of Shield which is a great show for all of you Marvel Lovers!
It is something that no on wants to talk about…The homeless problem right here at home. Well I shed many tears after reading this article over at Buzz Feed…but my heart was warmed and the hope that maybe…just maybe…we will take a step to making this situation better and ultimately see it go away. Little 10X12 spaces seem to be a mansion to many. Tim Murphy from Buzzfeed has written an incredible article that I consider a must read. It is called Home Petite Home: In the Pacific Northwest, people with nowhere else to go are forming micro-communities with communal kitchens and toilets but teeny, individual sleeping units. Could tiny homes, once the provenance of design blogs, help curb homelessness nationwide? I for one hope that this idea grows and grows and continue to help those less fortunate a lift.  Drop by and read the article plus the story of one man that lost everything and is on the road to better things and when he gets there he wants to give back.
