Farmhouse Thrift Store Makeovers with Pottery Barn Style

I can’t help but be amazed every time I put together a collection of Farmhouse Thrift Store Makeovers!  The talent out there is crazy!  Today’s stars are shining brightly and have a Pottery Barn Style about them.  There are incredible Black finishes that rival Pottery Barn (really) and other pieces that look like they could march out of their front door.  However…all pieces start at the Thrift Shop and then our Blogger Magician friends work their magic.  Don’t miss a one of these beauties and please take a moment to visit Larissa over at Prodigal Pieces…I just love when people pay it forward!  Hugs to all

Larissa from Prodigal Pieces…the lady that shares her gorgeous Thrift Store Makeovers with us every week would love for you to come and visit her and ready more about Habitat For Humanity…Helping Families Have a Home.  Her fabulous family is lending their hands to help and want to share with you what you can do to help.  Please drop by …I know she will be so happy to see you!

Larissa from Prodigal Pieces also has a brand new Thrift Store Makeover for us…watch this vanity go from used and dull to Farmhouse WOW…black truly is the new black…it is simply stunning.  Come and get the DIY…the techniques and your next creation could cross the finish line a real winner.

Diane from In My Own Style is going to show us how she took a he latest Thrift Store Nightstand find that she paid only a few dollars for and transformed it into an awesome Farmhouse Gem with the help of Magnolia Home Chalk Paint and some picture perfect distressing.  She will show you how so you can do it on your next piece!  Love the look!

Christy over at Confessions Of A Serial DIYER never leaves a great Thrift Piece behind!  Check out this fabulous Farmhouse Spindle Headboard Display Rack…how amazing is this!  She is    you find the headboard you have been dreaming of upcycling.

My Creative Days found an old Tiered Tray at her local Thrift Shop…it was a bit old and scratched but she new exactly what it needed…a beautiful Weathered Wood Treatment.  Check it out.

If you happen to find a Tray Table at your Thrift Store or Flea Market…snatch it up and Christy from Confessions Of A Serial DIYER will share her tips and techniques to give it all new Farmhouse Life!

Thrift Store Dresser…missing 3 drawers??? No problem!  Southern Revivals will show you how to put a new Pottery Barn Finish on it and who needs drawer when you have some fabulous baskets.  Come on over and see how this total beauty came together.  When you see the before you will see that there is basically HOPE for every piece out there.

Oh you are going to love your visit to 2 Bees In A Pod… they are going to show you how they decorate with some of their Thrift Store Finds…primarily Pitchers…big and small.  Prepare to be inspired!!!  Bet you will be looking for some of these goodies next time you are at the Thrift Shop.

A $20 Good Will Dresser can look like a $899 piece from Pottery Barn when you see how Little House Of Four does a makeover!  Don’t Miss it.

Ella Claire Inspired is sharing her Good Will Makeover.  You know what I love…she immediately spotted that the top of the dresser was very dated and just didn’t fit a style…so she removed them and added baskets and VOILA…Farmhouse Heaven!  Of course she gave it the works with a new paint treatment and new hardware…but every single step was SOOOO worth it.  This one should truly inspire you to try something like this next time your find a dresser that fits your needs…it just might fit your design with a little bit of inspiration and imagination!

As always here at The Cottage Market we would like to send out tons of APPAWS and APPLAUSE to all of our blogger friends for sharing their talents and creativity with us!  We want them to know that they are appreciated and loved.  You are going to adore exploring their blogs for more outstanding DIY’s and inspiration.  As always…ENJOY & CREATE!

Want to stay in the know? I’d really love that! (((HUGS)))
