About the Christmas Signs Collection
I wanted this collection to feel bright, nostalgic and just a little bit unexpected.
There are the traditional Christmas reds and greens we all love… but there are also beautiful shades of turquoise, vibrant blue, sunny yellow and even a wonderful candy pink!
The lettering is really the star of the show.
Each print features bold vintage inspired typography with a lightly distressed, hand painted appearance. Those little worn spots and uneven edges give the designs a wonderfully relaxed feeling… almost as though you discovered a collection of old Christmas signs tucked away in a vintage shop.
I think they would be especially cute displayed together, but each one has plenty of personality to stand on its own.

Easy Ways to Decorate With Your Christmas Signs
I think these prints would be especially charming in simple vintage inspired frames.
Try warm wood… bright red… cream… antique gold… or even a few colorful thrift store frames!
And don’t feel as though all your frames have to match.
In fact, a mix of different frames could make these look like a wonderful little collection of Christmas signs gathered over the years.
You could display them above a buffet, tuck one onto a kitchen shelf, create a Christmas coffee station or arrange several together on a gallery wall.
The HO HO HO print would be especially fun in a colorful holiday kitchen.
Merry & Bright and Holly Jolly would make such a happy pair.
And Let It Snow could stay out all Winter long!
Create a Colorful Christmas Gallery Wall
If you love a big cheerful Christmas display, why not use all six prints together?
Arrange them in two rows of three, or create a more collected arrangement using different frame styles and sizes.
I would add a little greenery, a few bottle brush trees and perhaps some vintage glass ornaments nearby.
These designs already have so much personality that you really don’t need a lot of extra decoration.
Sometimes big beautiful lettering and a splash of color are all you need!
A Few Friendly Printing Tips
- These Christmas signs are filled with rich color, so I would recommend using your printer’s Best or High Quality setting if possible.
- A nice bright white heavyweight cardstock or matte presentation paper would be a wonderful choice.
- Since the designs have colorful backgrounds, they may use more ink than some of our simpler printables. If you prefer, you can always have them printed at your favorite local print shop.
- Choose Actual Size or 100% when printing so your 5×7 or 8×10 artwork stays the correct size.
- And don’t forget to check your print preview!
- A beautiful frame and a simple mat can make these little printables look like something you found at a charming vintage Christmas market.
A Little Retro Christmas Magic
One of the things I love most about vintage Christmas decorating is how cheerful and nostalgic it feels.
There is something wonderful about those old fashioned signs… big bold letters… colorful ornaments… sparkling stars… and happy little messages that have been part of Christmas celebrations for generations.
They don’t have to be perfectly polished.
In fact, I think those slightly worn textures and imperfect painted details are part of what makes them feel so special.
And these prints let us enjoy that wonderful retro Christmas feeling without spending a fortune.
I hope these Free Printable Christmas Signs bring a big dose of holiday happiness into your home!
Whether you love traditional red and green Christmas decorating… playful pink holiday colors… or all those wonderfully nostalgic retro touches, I think there is something here to make you smile.
Print your favorites… Find a few pretty frames… Add a little greenery…
And enjoy creating a Christmas home filled with color, charm and plenty of JOY!
Wishing you a very Merry & Bright Christmas, my friends!
