Morning everyone…how goes it today!
Today we have another chapter of It’s a Cinch!
That’s right…another easy peasy project that you can adapt to your style and use the supplies you have on hand! By the way…I am getting the hang of this It’s a Cinch!
French Script Picture Frame…
Let’s start with a plain frame flat frame…
sand it smooth…
simply paint the frame in the color of your choice…
take out your favorite stamps and some StazOn ink…I highly recommend it…it is an ink that will last…it doesn’t run…fade or smear (but allow to dry completely)…
now simply stamp…where you would like it to appear a little
worn…simply take out your sand paper and start slowly till you achieve the effect that you would like…
take out some pretty embellishments…I got these at Michael’s and as you know…there are millions of choices…plus you could use some vintage jewelry…go crazy…
now I took my ink pad and gently rubbed it on the sides for a little bit of distressing…then place and glue your embellishments…
it’s a cinch!
Think of the possibilities! You can make this start to finish in 1/2 an hour! I sure hope you give it a try and put your special spin on it!

That frame is lovely! I know a ton of gals that would just love this project.. They all love anything to do with frames!
Gorgeous and so on-trend with all the decor right now! It never even occurred to me to stamp a picture frame, let alone to sand something that I have stamped to distress it. Thank you for the thorough step-by-step. Your site is so full of beautiful visuals!
All the best,
