I know that all of you love a great makeover and so do I…but today we are upping our game…it’s all about Fresh Farmhouse Dresser Makeovers Stylized with Charm. Sometime the makeover is simply sensational but that finishing touch is missing…well that is not happening here! The makeover and the stylizing is totally on point. There are many different approaches and I think you will take away inspiration from each and every one of them. I just love how a group of items that are all very nice on their own…come together to form something incredible! You will be use to this by the time you get to the end of this post. So I would love it if you sat back…sipped on a cold drink …put your feet up and enjoy the view. In the end you just might be inspired to do your own makeover and maybe shop the house and stylize : ) My favorite thing right now in stylizing a Dresser Top in any room is to start with a piece of framed artwork that I love and built around that focal. What’s your favorite way to jazz up your Dresser???
This beautiful Vintage Dresser that Liz Marie picked up a a Flea Market after she feel in love with it looks absolutely amazing in her Living Room. She has stylized it just perfect …yet very simply with plants…books… a vintage typewriter and a lamp. They all work in harmony together. What a great addition to this room
This handsome Farmhouse Dresser with a hand created Distressed Black Vintage Finish has been stylized “Bar Style”. There is tons of storage for all the accessories while the top looks amazing. Simple but a lot of impact…a total Classic Farmhouse Look. Check this out over at Little House of Four!
This was once an Orange Wood Dresser from a Thrift Store and now after Lauren of Bless’er House gave it a French Blue Makeover to die for. But the styling is Farmhouse Perfection. I love how she treated it it just like a Mantel. The use of a large piece of artwork is brilliant and then all of the other pieces fall into place. Tons of inspiration here…be sure to visit!
I love Liz Marie’s creativity. She shows us that a dresser can give tons of style to any space in or out of the home. Sometimes more is more when it comes to styling… just can’t get any more Farmhouse than this! What a great place to use larger and weathered items! Do you have a dresser on porch? Hmmm…maybe you will now. Stop by for tons more inspiration.
After Larissa from Prodigal Pieces gave this Thrifted Distressed Dresser a Farmhouse Makeover which you can read all about…she wanted to give it a unique and very Vintage Farmhouse Style and that is exactly what she did. I love how she got her height…a Distressed Hanging Rack was brilliant and with a scarf…hat and basket of Hydrangeas it was the perfect backdrop for some other little goodies like a picnic basket…vintage doilies…frames and glass bottles. A wonderful selection that almost makes you feel as though you are visiting the Little House On The Prairie. Tons of inspiration and diy await you here.
For those that love a POP of Color in their Farmhouse…check out this gorgeous Dresser Makeover at Orphans With Makeup and how it was styled. A simple group of different complimentary color glass bottles…some amazing blooms and the three coordinated plates just add the icing on the cake. Simple…inexpensive…beautiful and romantic. Do you have some ideas running through your brain?
Here’s another Dresser Makeover from Orphans With Makeup. I wanted to share this stylized top because you can use this idea with so many styles. I love the idea of collecting all kinds of mirrors…unifying them with a distressed painting technique and carrying it through to the candlesticks on the Dresser…Farmhouse Neutral at its finest. You can use this technique with all kinds of mirrors…colors…metallic…the sky is the limit. I just adore how it all comes together.
Raquel over at Maison de Pax transformed a Dresser from Craigs list into a Blue Beauty! Absolutely Dreamy! You can read all about the makeover in case you would love to try this technique and color. Then when it came to stylizing it…she it was go BOLD or go home! The Giant Pallet Clock is stunning and the other two pieces could not be more perfect! The end result…outstanding.
Nap time Decorator gave this Dresser an amazing makeover. Love the Contemporary Farmhouse look with the paint and wood combined! Then she topped it off with fabulous brushed silver pulls. The styling is simple but so charming. It’s all about the elements…you don’t have to spend tons you just have to find the different sizes…textures…colors…etc…that will compliment each other. Tons of inspiration here…enjoy!
This is one of my favorite Dresser Makeovers…it is just so sweet and pretty in Pink! Ella Claire Inspired shows us that you can top a beauty like this one with just a few key pieces and Voila…dainty blooms and a charming little doll equals…perfection! What a wonderful piece for a Child’s Room. Are your creative wheels turning???
Gina from The Shabby Creek Cottage shows us how easy it is to add a contemporary style with a POP of color! Love how she stylized this fun Dresser Makeover with some neutral wooden beads…a fabulous large wood arrow…some fresh blooms and a clock…less sometimes is more in the best way. I really enjoy the half approach…it’s fresh and fun!
This Dresser Makeover over at Salvaged Inspirations is simply dreamy. The effect is gotten by layering chalk paint (the diy is waiting for you to snatch up). Once the makeover was completed…it was topped off with elegant touches and the framed fern in glass is so Farmhouse Fresh! Totally stunning.
