DIY Bleached Wood Dresser Makeover – Do Dodson Designs
Oh you are in for a treat with this beauty! Do has created an absolutely stunning creation! She has taken a small wood dresser that her Mom had picked up while thrifting awhile back. It needed some extra loving care as it had some cigarette burns on it and the wood was very blotchy. In comes Do’s idea… bleach it!!! Bleaching is not the easiest method and can take a bit of time but when it works… it works and that is what happened here! On top of the wood beauty she used a neutral dainty botanical rice paper that is beyond gorgeous. When you put all of these elements together and all of the other touches that were added you come up with a Stunning one of a kind creation! Learn more about this technique! After the piece got cleaned… sanded and more… this ingredient gave it new life! The details got a boost from bronze gilding wax for that little touch of glam!
