Looking for a bit of decadence and no guilt?
Well you came to the right place today.
If you are a lover of Greek Yogurt and adore that fabulous tang that it has…this is for you. It’s totally amazing… by simply adding
1 tablespoon of good cocoa…1 tablespoon of confectioner sugar into 1/2 cup of plain Greek Yogurt you get a luscious chocolate cream that you will adore. (Remember to blend it till it is smooth and everything is mixed thoroughly.) If you are a honey lover…you can use a nice dollop of your favorite honey...
then you take your favorite fruits or fruits of the season and layer the bottom of your favorite glass …
then a nice dollop of your chocolate yogurt…. and repeat…
top it off with a nice scoop of yogurt …some chopped nuts (sometime some grated chocolate🙂 and you are good to go for under approximately 150 calories! Here’s the breakdown…50 calories for the 1/2 cup of greek yogurt…1 tablespoon of cocoa 20 calories…1 tablespoon of confectioners sugar 30 calories plus fruit and nuts.
If you want to take it a bit further…you can add some Nutella instead of cocoa…peanutbutter…homemade jams…and the list goes on…but of course the calorie count changes! You can also substitute plain Greek Yogurt with French Vanilla Greek Yogurt for extra sweetness. This is so tasty…so satisfying and as I said before…a bit decadent…very healthy and the calorie count of a lite snack! Great for dessert also…can’t wait blueberries are in season!
So…when you are feeling like something to make you smile and don’t want to regret it…this is a great little treat to prepare yourself. Oh…forgot to mention…HOW EASY is this!
Have a sweet day!
