All of these techniques and ideas can be transferred to your own Thrift Store items that you have squirreled away or new ones that you are going to score : ) Grab yourself a big cup of something yummy…sit back for a little bit and check these creations out…who knows…the light bulb just might go off for your next Thrift Store Makeover Project. You couldn’t even imagine that this Old Hardware Organizer that was snagged for $3 from the Thrift Store would turn into this mini Farmhouse Faux Card Catalog Masterpiece! You have to run over to Little House of Four and see how this piece was created. Then you have to keep your eyes peeled for one of these organizers so you can do a transformation like this one! Honestly…if you can’t find one and really want one…you can pick one of these up in a tool section of just about any hardware store or someplace like Home Depot or Lowes! Love it!
When this little Damaged Table made its way into Larissa’s Life she knew just what she was going to do to save it. Well…first Christy found a shelf at her Thrift Store and they scored a Mirror for $1 at a Garage Sale…but then she brought them together in her Makeover which proved to be an excellent move! Don’t these two look like they were made for each other! Ah…to have that keen eye…you never know when you are going to find a piece that will become another pieces soul mate!

I just love how this old Ice Cream Maker purchased for $.50 at a huge Yard Sale turned into a fabulous Farmhouse Wooden Planter…who knew? It wasn’t able to make ice cream any longer…but now that The House Of Hawthornes got their creative hands on it…it is now styling fresh blooms and adding a pop of color to it’s surroundings.
