Do you love vintage and thrifty finds? Do you love to share? Do you like a good party? Well then you are in the right place today so come and join us and enjoy the adventures of Junkin Joe!
Hmmm…and interesting haul this week but just like we discussed…the prices are soaring and this is what he was able to find within his $5 budget. Personally I am very luke warm about everything. Although as you know dachshunds are simply one of my favorite things in life…but there is a little chip and it is an ash tray???…then there’s the bunny rabbit banks…yes…they are vintage…yes they even have the original sticker on them…yes they are a sign of Spring and wonderful for Easter Time…but they are missing their glasses and not the cutest cottontails in the world…they are smoking? Then there is a simple tea pot which I am going to do something with! But as you know we keep in real here so I am sharing what JJ brought home for his budgeted amount of $5! (deep sigh…ash tray????)
So let’s take a closer look and then check out some features and then it’s time to PARTY!
Hey…maybe the cottontails would like the ashtray? What do you think???
As you can see…little tails in tack!
Here’s the little slot and…
the change releases are in great shape!
See the little holes…that is where a pair of glasses are suppose to pop in…
this little guy is missing his too…but they are in pretty good shape and guess what? They paid for themselves because there was $3.00 of change inside!
Three little doxies…
one in need of nose job…
almost looks they are lying around the pool…
I will foster this trio until I find a good home for them…in the meantime I will see what magic cosmetic surgery I can do on their little noses : )
I’m a little teapot short and stout…
here is my handle…
here is my spout….
but she won’t be pouring any tea since aluminum is her metal of choice…but I think I might create something fun with her…a perfect start to a lovely home for some fresh cut blooms or even maybe…just maybe a little garden (hmmm…maybe a faux one : )
So there you have it…not stellar but interesting…now…let’s check out a few of our Junkin Joe friends and their treasures!

Thank you for the feature this week! I’m smiling from ear to ear over here! And i bet you could make some cute little wire spectacles for those bunnies and fix them right up. 🙂
Hi andrea thankyu so much for featuring my bunny doughnuts and for hosting. Have a wonderful weekend xxx
Happy Friday!! Have a wonderful weekend Andrea xox
BINGO ! Thanks for the feature, Andrea! I am enjoying the links – great party.
I think those bunny banks are pretty cute! Thanks for hosting and have a great weekend!

What fun finds! I have never seen bunnies quite like those and the change inside was a bonus! Love the dogs “by the pool”. Hope you have a great Friday- xo Diana
Love those bunny banks!! So neat!! Wishing you a beautiful weekend! xo Heather
Don’t be disheartened by Joe’s finds. Accept them as a challenge !
Teapot painted pink and pop it outdoors in your garden or hang it from a tree. Glue it on to a big dinner plate and use it as a birdfeeder.
The money boxes are ok……..kind of 😉
Can you paint the ashtray and use it as a soap dish in your kitchen ? If it were me I would put lots of moss from the florists in the dish and poke it in between the doggies and it would look as if they were standing in a field. Poke some little flowers into the moss too. It would look really sweet. Could you touch up the chip on his nose with a lick of paint ?
Maybe if the prices are soaring he needs a pay rise ? xoxoxo
I actually think you did well! The bunny banks are darling and that doxie ashtray is…well, it’s a FIND! 🙂 Seriously, I don’t know if you sell your vintage finds, but doxie stuff always does really well for me. 🙂 Thanks so much for featuring my bookend from last week!! Take care and thanks for hosting!
Suggestion for the doxies… how about a moss and/or Fairy Garden? Hey, even fairies like nice doggies!
I waited for as long as I could, it’s a little early but you will have it for your birthday ! I am sure that you have seen it by now but Happy Birthday my beautiful friend. Print it out and stick it on your fridge. You can’t eat it but you can look at it! lol xoxoxoxoxoxox
