It’s time for another episode of Junkin Joe! Come on in and check out some great features and a wonderful Linky Party where everyone is welcome. A great place to show off your vintage and thrifty finds…upcycled projects, refurbished furniture and more! We would love it if you join us today!
A Big Welcome to all of our friends here at Junkin Joe.
A little bit of sad news today…our little fishy Dwayne from last weeks Junkin Joe Adventure has gone to the heavens. We do believe that the trauma he went through was a bit too much. He did have a few good days of swimming in the crystal ball room and dining of fine seaweed flakes. We talked to him all the time and made him feel loved.
RIP Dwayne “the fish” Johnson you were a sweetie and now you swim in the clouds.
Now we have a big question to ask you all…would you like to see JJ’s finds each week or 1 bargain find upcycled each week? We want to do what you would like so if you would be so kind as to let us know…that would be awesome ok!
Now let’s see what all of you have been up to!

I’d be happy to make you a pie or two, Andrea! Although I’m not a coconut fan so I’m not sure how well that one would turn out. Lol. Thank you much for featuring the pie safe. 🙂 As for your question, i can’t quite decide. I do love seeing the $5 finds each week but seeing an upcycle is always fun too. Maybe you could switch it up every now and again. Have a great weekend, my friend!
Love the ideas here. The turquoise paint on the side table and the DIY chalkboard!
I also have the exact same tea “cookie jar” and tea pot!
My cookie jar has all my herb teas in it.
So fun to see them here too!
Happy weekend!
– Maria
Hi Andrea, I like both of your ideas for features. I like seeing what Joe got and I like seeing an upcycled feature. I guess I’m no help.
I’m also with you on the coconut cream pie! Bring it on! Thanks for your party and the feature. It’s always so colorful and fun here at the Cottage Market!

So sorry to hear about your little fish. Love your party! x
So sorry to hear about Dwayne. At least he spent his final days in luxury! As for the choice between JJ & an upcycled project, I love them both and can’t make a decision as to which I’d rather see. Can we have both? Pretty please?!!
Thank you for featuring my chalkboard! Have a great weekend.
Thanks for hosting another fun party this week! There were some great features! Thanks so much for featuring my lemon sugar cookies! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Sorry about Dwayne. Thanks for featuring Emma and for hosting!
What a lovely blog and great party’s 🙂

Your thoughtful comments always make me smile :0)
Wishing you a beautiful week ahead,

Aaaaaw poor lil Dwayne the fish, his last days were full of lavishness and spoils so he left the world in style.
I LOVE to see Junkin Joes finds so please keep this segment 🙂
Sorry to hear about Dwayne. Thanks for hosting the party despite being in a period of bereavement. As for a preference between sharing Joe’s finds and sharing an upcycled project, how about alternating weeks?
Poor Dwayne, I was so sorry to read of his passing. On a brighter note, thank you for the feature of my galvanized stand!
