Morning my friends…hope you are all doing fabulously! Are the stockings hung on the chimney with care? Are the cookies all baked? Is the smell of gingerbread through the air? Whatever your favorite things are I hope you and your families lives are filled with them!
The time is so near now I decided to keep my posts very easy and hopefully useful!
I have a favorite store and it is Trader Joe’s (no affiliation AT ALL…just love the store)
It is filled with tons of goodies this time of year that are scrumptious and so reasonably priced. Plus their vegetarian selections are amazing!
If you have one near you…here is the easiest fast dessert you will ever prepare…it also can easily be breakfast…well with no further ado…check it out
Panetonne and Cookie Butter
Look for these on the shelves…The Panettone is delicious…moist and fresh (this comes from someone that is Italian and does not particularly love Panettone…but this one is FABULOUS) The best thing also it is so incredibly affordable — some exclusive shops sell it for $28.99 — TJ’s has it $4.99…seriously?
Then…This Cookie Butter is purely HEAVEN in a jar.!!!! You can make the holiday feeling instantly appear with just one taste…the best way to describe it is a smooth graham cracker taste with a touch of the best animal crackers in the world all in one…creamy and spreads just like peanutbutter! It instantly transports you to your childhood and your children…they are going to love it!!!
All wrapped up and looking scrumptious…
Filled with moist and plump currants and golden raisins…
Spread a little butter on it…toast it up on a cast iron pan…sprinkle with a little powdered sugar and you have a morning treat that is amazing!
now do the same…a bit of butter…toast it to a light brown (2 minutes on the pan)…remove from the pan…spread a thin layer of cookie butter and sprinkle with sugar or with a bit of fleur de sel or kosher salt…by doing that it creates almost a salted caramel effect…this makes such an incredible breakfast of special treat for your visitors!
Some other things that are simply delicious…
Use the Panettone and make French Toast…FABULOUS!!!!
Drizzle Heated Preserves over toasted Panettone…yum yum…
Use Nutella as your spread and sprinkle with chopped Hazelnuts…
The possibilities are endless and you will have tons of fun creating INSTANT desserts!!!
Another instant dessert are all of the above with a simple pound cake or any loaf type cake…
drizzle with preserves…top with whipped cream and a touch of chocolate syrup and viola!
Hope these SIMPLE and QUICK desserts come in handy this holiday season!
Also…just take a simple cookie…this is a homemade brown sugar cookie…put a dollop of cookie butter and sprinkle with a few treats and yet another Yummy! The cookie butter is also fabulous as a center…for the little ones…take 2 nilla wafers sandwiched with cookie butter…what a great treat ANYTIME!!!
I also want to wish everyone who is celebrating
Hannukkah
a fabulous 8 days of celebration
here’s one of my recipes you may enjoy during this festive time!

Hello, Andrea. I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the sweetest, most thoughtful comment on my blog. Not only did you bring a smile to my face, but you lightened the burden I’ve been carrying in my heart for Daisy. For that, I thank you! Hugs, Lisa
If you ever go to North Carolina, hit up Panera Bread. They make the BEST oven cakes ever and it looks just like what you made with sugar sprinkled on top!
