I LOVE furniture makeovers! It is a hobby that I thoroughly enjoy. I’ve been doing this for over thirty years.
I would like to make a suggestion regarding reupholstering the seats of chairs (Dining, kitchen, etc.): When you are working on an older chair, perhaps one you have acquired at a yard sale or thrift shop, I recommend replacing the seat padding in addition to new fabric. Many chairs have had years of use, and the padding eventually flattens and breaks down. It may also hold stains than can actually affect the new fabric, particularly if the stains contained grease. It is well worth the effort to take this extra step. 🙂
