Pantone Color of the Year 2020 Classic Blue

Let’s Take a Look at the Pantone Color of the Year 2020 Classic Blue.  Pantone describes the color as “a boundless blue evocative of the vast and infinite evening sky.” It’s a very calming — anti-anxiety blue.

Every year I enjoy delving into the Trending Colors of the New Year. Sometimes I love the choices and sometimes they are appreciated but they are not exactly my “shade”!  I am all about choosing what you love not what’s  “hot”… but it’s still fun to see what’s happening out there!  Well this year I am excited to explore the choices because they are some of my favs!  First of all BLUE is taking center stage and I can’t think of a more deserving color to be the star. I have adored blue all my life and it still reins as my favorite color! Pantone named classic Blue as this Years Color of the Year 2020.  Ocean colors are going to be everywhere… from Cool Aqua to Sand-like Whites to Driftwood Browns to deep Greens.  Mint Green and Greens of Nature are going to be popping up everywhere too and we will explore those in the next few weeks too… so stay tuned!  Let’s take a little look for some inspiration!
