Let’s get all the ingredients together and make some of this good stuff! This would make an amazing brunch item too don’t you think!

–
- 16 graham crackers (crushed)
- 3 tablespoons of light brown sugar
- 5 large eggs (room temperature)
- 2 egg yolks (for extra richness but you can just add 1 more egg if you would like)
- 2 cups half and half
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 7 ounce jar of Marshmallow Fluff
- ½ jar of Chocolate or Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
- 8 thick slices of Challah...Brioche or Country White thick slice bread about ⅓" thick
- 6 tablespoons of Butter
- 6 tablespoons of canola or vegetable oil (don't use olive oil : )
- Confectioners sugar
- You are going to need to preheat your over to 350 - 375 degrees and place your baking rack approximately 6 inches from the broiler. Don't forget to move the rack before you preheat!
- Set up a little dredging station....place your crushed graham crackers in a shallow dish. Then you are going to take your eggs...vanilla and half and half and whisk until creamy smooth.
- Now it is time to soak your slices...I put them in the custard mix for approximately 30 seconds and then then dredge into the graham cracker crumbs...then place on a dish waiting to be cooked. Repeat...
- Time to fry up your french toast slices...you can use a griddle pan or a saute pan. Heat up equal parts of butter and oil (3 tablespoons of each for approximately 3-4 slices) cook until golden brown on both sides. When your first batch is done...place the slices on a rack that is over a cookie tin and place in the over to keep warm. Repeat.
- Take 4 slices out and prepare them with your S'mores ingredients. Spread each slice with approximately 2 heaping tablespoons of hazelnut spread or chocolate spread and then top with a nice mound of fluff (it is a little sticky to spread but remember...it doesn't have to be perfect! ) Now place the other 4 slices on a platter.
- Crank up the oven to broil and place the 4 slices with the S'mores mixture on them under the broiler until bubbly and golden brown. You have to watch closely...it happens pretty fast and you don't want to burn them!
- Now take them out of the over and top with the plain french toast...cut them in half...sprinkle with confections sugar...plate them and serve!

This yummy creation can also be served as dessert! It is not hard…just takes a little bit of time and patience and believe me it is well worth it. Kids from 1 – 152 will love it. You can mix things up sometimes too…maybe use preserves…peanut butter…let your imagination soar…but try this combo first…I don’t want you to miss out. If you are a S’more lover…don’t forget to check out my Nutella S’mores…they could not be easier!
