2015 if finally here! I for one am looking forward to a new year. Ok…when a new year begins…we get a little snapshot of what the trends will be…I am far from a trend setter…but I thought that it would be fun to bring you a whole bunch of collections of what “they” say will be hot this year. Let’s start with the world of Home Decor! Stencils are HOT!!! But this year it is all about stenciling the floor and I have to say when done right…they look amazing! So here is a collection of Stenciled Floor DIY Projects for you. They will inspire you and get your creative wheels turning!!! Each one comes with an incredible tutorial to see you through the whole process. So if you are looking to jazz up your floor or give it a budget friendly makeover…you just might really enjoy these DIY Projects here today.   Even if you don’t want to do an entire floor…you can adapt anyone of these to a small area…maybe stencil a border or even a faux stenciled throw rug…the possibilities are endless! ENJOY!
So…what did you think…something for every style right! We would love to know if this is something that you might be thinking about this year? As always here at The Cottage Market we would like to send out tons of APPAWS and APPLAUSE to all of our blogger friends for sharing their talents and creativity with us! We want them to know that they are appreciated and loved. You are going to adore exploring their blogs for more outstanding DIY’s and inspiration. As always…ENJOY & CREATE!

These are ABSOLUTELY wonderful, IMHO. I love the concept and the application. We installed very, very basic (read budget friendly) cork floors from Lumber Liquidators in 2008. No fault in the floors, but they’ve faded around area rugs, leaving a fairly pale border around a nearly new center. We(I), now need to do SOMETHING before we put the house on the market next spring. I’ve considered painting with porch paint (recommended from somewhere online), but it looks tedious and difficult. I’m inspired to do something artistic, but subtle. This DEFINITELY fits the bill. Thank you.
