Today’s it is all about the Cottage combo of
Aqua and Red
When you think of the colors aqua and red you probably get a strong Cottage vibe almost immediately…I know I do! Today you will see some fabulous Cottage rooms here that are showing off the Cottage FRESH allure of aqua and red!
Over at Five Days Five Ways you will see a fabulous Red & Aqua
Nursery from start to finish. Aqua and Red are used in such an imaginative and fun way…perfect for the new precious bundle.
Just look at this section of the room…it makes me happy…a beautiful white chair with red piping…a white chest with red pulls and red accents…a red polka dot rug…adorable curtains pulling even more of the primary colors into the forefront…a whimsical space that is showing off these 2 colors in the best way possible!
Check out the rest of the room…it is a TREAT!!!!
Now over at House Beautiful
they pair red and aqua plus pink and it is simply perfect!
Cottage FRESH! I do believe it is the perfect blend of traditional cottage flair and some modern touches. Love this space and simply adore the aqua painted bed.
Wouldn’t you love to be making a fresh pot of coffee right here in the morning! It just makes you smile …even though the base of the kitchen is white… the red and aqua just make the room POP with JOY!
The combination of different shades of aqua/blue and reds are look wonderful here…the fireplace has a deep blue and so does the blanket on the chair…then there are medium shades of aqua and a touch of light aqua…now add red plaid…red and white polka dots…red and white stripes…the room just ties together and creates a comfy…welcoming space.
Talk about a wonderful blend of red and aqua…tons of patterns and shades and it all works together in perfect harmony. Just look at the bed and deconstruct it…it shows us how a collection of different items can all work together as long as they share a simple common denominator…which in this case is a color scheme. Love it!
Maybe these 2 colors will work themselves into your future?
If not…they are still fun to look at as they create amazing spaces!
