What is Take 5 you ask…well it is a collection of 5 things that I think you will all enjoy! It can be themed…random…food…crafts…home decor and everything in between. Hopefully you will love them enough to take 5 minutes out of your busy day… relax and enjoy! Today it is all about
Decorating with the Color Yellow!
Truth be told…I was never a big fan of the color yellow. I don’t know why…but I am appreciating it much more now than before…I think when used in semi-moderation…it much more appealing than some rooms that are saturated in the color…what do you think?
So today we are going to check out 5 beautiful rooms with more than a POP of yellow…but not over the top…hope you enjoy.
A lovely wall color accented with a nice print curtain is a great beginning to this room. Then adding some yellow accents throughout the room with pillows…vases, china and flowers with a bit of green gives this space a ton of personality. Just the right amount of color mixes with a perfect amount of white.
Gray plus yellow and a few pops of pink…what drama and fun!
Isn’t this a perfect bed ensemble! Right down to the gorgeous headboard…a magical blend of color and patterns…I adore the little pom poms on the comforter!
I absolutely love how the yellow is the focus of the room and how everything else seamlessly falls into place with such elegance and beauty.
The perfect shade combined with crown moulding and beadboard sets the mood in this gorgeous bathroom. Then how can you loose with the vintage floor and leaded glass window. The right accessories just make the room dance with joy!
I am enjoying yellow much more now…can’t wait to start pairing up colors with other colors…yellow will meet blue soon! : )
What do you want to see in Take 5!

I just love love the bedding ! Help the link does not work…YIKES
It is fun to see a bit of yellow in blogland. My mother loved a yellow and white kitchen and had that for years and years. When my kids were babies I had a yellow nursery for them and it always felt bright and sunny. xo Diana
I love yellow (as you can tell from photos of our home). I like all the rooms you’ve featured, especially the bathroom!
