It’s not your Betsy Ross stars and stripes…it’s fresh…fun & fabulous! I can not tell a lie…even though I love our flag…the colors together have never been my thing …except when it comes to desserts… so I didn’t think much about this palette until my husband walked into the room a few days back with his newspaper. He placed a full 2 page spread on my desk and said…”I think this would be really good for your blog”…excuse me? Ok…he does suggest recipes and such…but never “decor”. So I said …hmmmmm… maybe I should just take a peek…it might be fun and that it was…so today’s Take Five is brought to you by The New Red, White and Blue and my husband Joe!

I’m so on board with the red, white + blues!
My goal is to freshen up everything in our new/old house — so your post was right up my décor alley!
I think the keys are these: heavy on the whites, accentuate with the reds, + change out all that indigo for paler blues.
