A Super Hot Home Decor Trend in 2018 is Two Toned Kitchens! When I heard it I was not to sure about it but once I saw it I became more and more in love with it. In fact I will be doing it to my cabinets in the Spring. We are going white and navy! So I thought I would put together a collection of Two Toned Kitchens …The Perfect Marriage. This way you can get a great idea on different color combinations …who knows there just might be one that makes you want to get out that paint and those brushes and rollers! I just want to add one thing…don’t forget to pick out dynamite hardware…it’s kind of like pairing a Black Dress with Pearls : ) Sure hope you enjoy these. Why not let us know which ones or one you love in the comments. We love hearing from you. Well …you guessed it…it is time to put those feet up…grab a cup of your favorite brew and ENJOY!
Black and White has never looked better. Loving this combination. It’s stylish…crisp…clean and can be accessorized with any style you want to convey.
You don’t have to run the two colors straight across…bottom and top…you can mix it up a bit like this beautiful kitchen over at Summer Thornton Design. The white cabinets are accents and they make the room pop. The darker shade of turquoise is amazing. By the way…did you check out that floor and the beautiful counter tops!
This kitchen by BlogTheDPages give the whole two tone look a different twist. Not only is the bottom cabinets a light neutral cabinet…it is also textured and the top cabinets are sporting a totally different color and style and it works! By the way…I would like that stove please : )
Loving this Farmhouse Kitchen with a POP of color! Light blue and white is always a winning combination and I love how they added a cohesive blend of color by adding a rug and carrying it up to the counter with a complimentary style Calendar along with a fresh bouquet! Loving the sink too. This is certainly a happy space.
This very classic look over at Savvy Home Blog is easy to obtain. Pick a beautiful shade that let’s everything around it shine. It’s a very tailored look that can be dressed up or down but always look fabulous. This is an example what the right hardware can do!
I am all about this beauty over at Place Of My Taste. Anika out did herself with this complete Kitchen Makeover. She shows you exactly what she did and you get to see all the before pictures. In the end Her Two Toned Kitchen is insanely fabulous. Perfect colors…wonderful counter top…slim and sensational hardware unique tile floor and a nifty touch of Natural with the Jute rug. It’s like a symphony with not a sour note! Drop by and see how she did this…you can do it too!
House and Home shows us that the two tones used do not have to be shocking. Here you see a light grey mixed with white. The difference is subtle but still adds interest and depth. The grey looks so rich with the hardwood floors.
Maybe two shades of the same color might work for you. You can envision your favorite color while looking at this blue on blue! So many possibilities!
Over at This Old House you will find a classic Cottage Color Combo and a unique way of using them. Blue with white trim and white with blue trim…they even brought that combination to the ceiling beams. Pops of red are also classic Cottage…maybe this look would be perfect for you. (I have to say that I am not fond of the upholstery. I would have preferred a softer more retro touch).
Sometimes Classic White and Wood is a great way to go. It’s a blank slate to create the look you are going for…add any color combination and it will be complimentary to the space. Just a heads up…Dark Stained Wood is HOT this year!
Rich and Traditional over at Hative!
Bob Villa is featuring a classic color combination of Rusty Red and White…a “traditional old school Farmhouse Classic”.
Loving this color combination…simply adore the shades of grey and white backsplash…the black counter top is the perfect accent and what wonderful hardware…kind of crushing on this one!
This Kitchen over at Jillian Harris is simply stunning. It truly shows you that two toned cabinets WORK and some combinations are classic and will be around for decades to come.
