Unique and Useful Farmhouse Thrift Store Makeovers
I just love Larissa’s creativity. She should be classified as a Thrift Store Finder “Whisper” . For example… the fabulous Farmhouse DIY Welcome Sign Coat Rack was once sitting on the shelf of her Thrift Store looking very very dated. Well she heard it calling her and she saw through it and created this beauty. You have to see the before to totally appreciate the after over at Prodigal Pieces.
Nancy … aka Artsy Chicks Rule took this Thrift Store Cabinet Door and repurposed it into a Coat Rack. EZ PZ… check out how she did it!
Sarah over at Sadie Seasongoods was not going to make a Winter Wreath this year but she just could not pass up the pile of slightly beaten up green wreaths at her Thrift Store! Come on over and see how she took a sad wreath and made it a Farmhouse Winter Beauty!!! I LOVE that she knitted her own ribbon.
Sometime Books are put out to pasture. My entire Family consists of over the top Book Lovers. I have mentioned before that my kids didn’t even have to go to the library for anything until they were in High School! But even though we have over 10,000 in our collection I do understand when people use old books to make fabulous crafts. This one is really amazing by Girl In The Garage. Hey… you can always remember the actually pages and get two uses from the book! Come and see how this Book was turned into such a fabulous box that can be used for so many things… plus it looks great. So even if you are a book advocate… I feel as though the book is getting a second life and that is better than being in the 100’s of warehouses of old books that will never see the light of day again… Great project and I hope it inspires you!
Here we are over at Confessions Of A Serial DIYER!!! Today Christy is sharing this amazing Thrift Store Wall Cabinet Makeover and it is STUNNING!!! She share the project from beginning to end. Come and see how it all started!
When Debbie from Refresh Restyle found this old wooden step stool… she wanted to give it a happy … fresh and fabulous Farmhouse Makeover and that is just what she did. Come and see how some paint and a stencil can transform just about anything!
Can you believe that these gorgeous hooks were found for $.50!!!!! Well they were and they were put to great use over at My Uncommon Slice Of Suburbia! Isn’t this Farmhouse Apron Hook fabulous? It’s simple and you may not find hooks as awesome as these… but I am sure you can find some really cool ones… so keep your eyes peeled… it’s a quick … easy and incredible addition to any space.
Over at the House Of Hawthornes a Croquet Set was found and then the magic happened. Don’t you love how it was repurposed into a Farmhouse Style Towel Holder that would look great in the Kitchen or on you Potting Table! Drop by and see how easy it is. Hey… no one is going to miss one club right?
Here’s another totally original creation by Susan from Homeroad. Come and see how she repurposed a cabinet door into this stylish Eyeglass Storage. LOVE it!
If there is one items that you can almost always be guaranteed to find at your Thrift Store is a pair of jeans! I have seen many items made from them… but actually this is the first Apron and come on… it’s a natural isn’t it with all those pockets! Every Farmhouse Kitchen or Craft Room needs one of these… am I right! Well Diane over at Adirondacks Girl @ Heart is going to show you step by step how to make one for your very own!
