Well my friends it is time once again to share some vintage treasures…shine a spotlight on a few friends masterpieces and in the end…time to PARTY once again with…
The treasures were different than usual this week…very interesting to say the least…let’s check it out…
do you know what this is?…
now do you know?…
now??? Well I did know because my Mom and Grandmother used one of these all the time…in fact Grandma handed hers down to my Mom…it is a dust butler and it sure works…I tried it and WOW…but I have to tell you that this little antique came with a bonus…it’s own vintage crumbs : )Â
Then these two cuties came into the house…yes…they are real Hummels…I have to admit that I am not a big fan…but these two twins are very sweet…
all hand painted and in very good condition!
Â
This is a vintage blast from the past…dating early-mid 70’s …
shiny and almost like new…
well it obviously was used many times and tiny little traces of hardened wax are still present…I wonder how many letters these two fishies sealed…remember letters??? When I see something cool like this…makes me want to write one…but will I???
Then this beat up kind of YUCKY box…no not kind of YUCKY… more like disgusting…dirt…dust… and yuck was included! I was wondering what could be inside since so many things come into the house in boxes that just hang around the good will and I am all for the recycling that way…but to my surprise…
I found this (and YES…I HAD TO WASH them before pictures…really really : ) and then…
and then…
and believe it or not…
it was ALL there!!! ALL of it — even the little plastic lids that just wouldn’t look nice in the pictures…all 35 pieces…who would of thought and then here is the BESTEST (is that a word…whatever…) it was $5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCORE Junkin Joe…the only thing wrong is it wasn’t pink : ( but I will live : )Â
Pretty good pickins don’t you think!!!

What great finds. I especially love the cookware!!! That’s a great set.
Thank you so much for hosting the party and for featuring my painted window!
Stopping by to say hi because Kirby at KirbAppeal told me too. She is the voice in my head.

I just love the pieces Joe found! h my goodness that whole set is amazing
Another thumbs up for these bargains
My MIL used a dust butler on the table after dinner all the time and it worked so well … had forgotten about that. She’s no longer with us but my father in law hasn’t parted with anything. Wonder if I can help that butler find its way into my home cause we seem to be very messy eaters! Enjoy your weekend Andrea, btw Beaver is really improving.

Just got back from my 12 hour drive back from NC and the first think I’m doing is linking up here!
I wonder what those vintage crumbs are worth – maybe you should put them on ebay!

Wow, I can’t believe all that gorgeous Pyrex for $5!! Great finds!! Happy weekend to you! xo Heather
that cookware is such a great find, andrea! my mom had tons of hummels, but, i don’t think i’ve seen yours. thanks for the fun party and sharing my light:)
Joe scored again! The Hummels are cute … but I’m with you, not a huge Hummel fan … and those Primrose Dream dishes are dreamy for sure! And I can use that dust bunny scooper upper thingy … mine are taking over the house!

Vintage crumbs !!! lol (That’s something you don’t find every day.)
I remember my Grandmother having something similar. She also had a carpet sweeper which she always seemed to be using. I used to fly out the house when I saw it coming because I thought she would sweep me all up ! lol
