A White Cottage Christmas

The Cottage style just seems to engulf you in a warm and loving hug and everyone needs a hug sometimes right?  So just sit back and Dream of a White Cottage Christmas …the kind of Holiday that is filled with warm hot chocolate that is trimmed with Christmas tree marshmallows, star cookies with sprinkles that look like freshly fallen snow, vignettes with vintage skates and sleds, angels wings, ornaments wrapped in linen, trees that sparkle,  snow globes that transport you to the snow capped Alps, collections of antique Christmas balls that are slightly crazed, scrumptious desserts topped with a mountains of whipped cream, presents that look like they are the gift, little wreaths placed on the back of a weathered white chair, sparkling crystals hanging in mid air and snow covered branches with tiny little gifts of nature.  Time for you little visual stroll …I will be back after your journey!

Sometimes it is just nice to take a photo journey.  Maybe right now you have that comfy cozy feeling that makes you happy!  I also hope that you might have gotten inspired to create something new with treasures that you have.  Maybe a vignette …or a table setting,  how about whipping up a batch of homemade Christmas Tree marshmallows.  Wouldn’t it be sweet to see the little ones eyes wide open if they saw heavenly wings on their chairs…looking like they might take flight!  Collect piles of vintage ornaments and place them in beautiful containers throughout the house.  Sweet touches like a spring of every green on top your neatly stacked laundry.  Little expressions from the heart make every holiday BRIGHT!
