Chairs…Chairs and more chairs!!! One always needs a comfy place to sit right? Well I am always completely amazed what can be created from a roadside rescue chair…a flea market chair…a chair that is broken and damaged….a once ugly duckling seat can be transformed to a royal throne with a lot of love and talent! Oh yes and the right paint…upholstery…fabric…embellishments and whatever other little touches you want to add! Most chair makeovers can be completed in a days time which is fabulous right…who doesn’t love to have almost instant gratification. You can be creating all day and then be able to sit on your accomplishments that night at the dinner table…in front of the TV or pull it up to your computer!. Here’s hoping that this Charming Chair Makeover DIY Projects inspired you to create…give you the direction and instruction you need to makeover the perfect seat!!!

I do love the simple wooden chair with the colorful back. Simple but sweet. I have a left-handed wooden desk chair that I want to use in my cottagey decor, but don’t know what to do with it…..it is an item I won’t give up because I am a lefty and all through school I would have loved to have had a left-handed desk. Very rare, indeed.
Sounds like a really special chair Claire! I sure hope you find the perfect style for it! Have you thought of using a cottage style wall paper and applying it to the legs…about 1/2 way up and tipping the end in a little bit of gold…just that little bit would give it a cottage chic glow : ) Maybe…just maybe one day when you are at a flea market or good will…the left handed desk will present itself…how awesome would that be : ) hugs!
