Mirrors are such an amazing item to decorate with but they are not just an accessory… the make a space feel larger… airier … brighter. They are used in all kind of home decor styles but today we are going to put a special spot light on Decorating With Mirrors Farmhouse Style. Hope you are inspired!
DIY Thrift Store Mirror Wall Gallery — Bless’er House
I do believe that this is one of my most favorite decorating with mirrors project ever. Lauren collected Thrift Store Mirrors and then one day she decided to use them all. Come and see how she prepared the wall so everything had it’s perfect spot before she went to hang them. In the end the Mirror Wall Gallery looks incredible and makes the Dining Room Feel Wide Open and spacious.
Modern Farmhouse Entry Way — View From My Heels
The addition of a large circular mirror in this Modern Farmhouse Entry Way completely changes the feel of the space. You feel as though the space is wide open and the luscious neutrals just give you a cozy and welcoming feel.
Beautiful Mirrors — Liz Marie
Liz Marie is the Mirror Queen (there are other decorating with mirrors Farmhouse Style by this amazing lady yet to show you.) Now how much do you love these large mirrors… they are like works of art and they reflect the beautiful open decor making this area look huge! Don’t you just want to sit in that seat and read a good book!
A Rustic Farmhouse Arched Mirror — Liz Marie
Liz loves her mirrors and this gorgeous arched mirror absolutely gorgeous. She has it hanging in just the perfect spot… it actually looks like she added a large window to her space but even better. It is placed next to her fireplace and adds the perfect charm the space deserves. Can you think of a perfect place for a mirror like this… I bet you can.
Mirror Gallery — Ski Country Antiques
If you are looking for Mirror Drama… how about creating a gorgeous Mirror Stair Gallery Wall. You can go ornate and traditional or sleek and modern. Mix things up with metal… wood and colors… there are just so many combinations. The most important thing will be laying out your design before you hang (refer to the top post from Bless’er House). If you are lucky enjoy to collect mirrors at a reasonable price… this could be so fabulous.
An Aged Mirror…the perfect touch — Thistlewood Farms
When you walk through the front door at Kari’s home it is extra light an airy! A gorgeous Aged Mirror hanging on headboard above a sweet little aged table with a vase filled beautiful greens. A winning combination for any small or large entry space. Actually it is a great combo on any wall in any room.
Drawer Mirrors — Maplenest
I don’t really like using for sale items as an example… but when I saw these I had to share the picture because they are so Farmhouse Charming. You actually could make these for your home with a much more budget friendly price tag. Look for drawers at your local Thrift Store or Flea Market. Then sand it down… stain it or maybe give it a wonderful paint treatment or how about using both… paint on the outside and stain on the inside or vice versa! Then get a mirror cut the size you need to fit inside the drawer or even use a smaller pre-made one. You could even use a round one and have the background exposed. Then add a vase… a plant… fresh blooms or anything your heart desires! It will look awesome hanging anywhere!
Decorating a Mantel with a Feature Mirror — Magnolia
This fresh and fabulous Modern Farmhouse space is just perfect. How much do you love how the large Circle reflects the beauty of a different part of the room… everything looks so much more open! Joanna has the magic touch for sure! By the way… how awesome is that fireplace.
Decorating with a Large Panel Mirror — Atlanta Home
Over at Atlanta Home you can see what a large panel of mirrors can do to make a space look immense! Do you have a space where this might work?
Large Ornate Mantel Mirror — French Country Cottage
Just like Joanna Gaines used a Modern Circular Mirror to make her mantel pop… this large ornate mirror adds the perfect touch to this Country French Farmhouse Space. I love how the beautiful roses are reflected in the mirror that makes them look like there are clusters of them!
Mirror Trio — Liz Marie
Liz Marie truly comes up with such amazing Farmhouse Decorating ideas and this trio of large mirrors above the couch is brilliant. A little bit of “fancy” mixed in with comfy cozy Farmhouse can be a good thing! Keep your eyes peeled for cool and different mirrors that are on sale or at the Thrift Shop… Flea Markets… even your neighbors Garage Sale. If you can afford a higher price… keep frequenting the Estate Sales… Antique Shops and Boutique! You can also just do a fabulous Mirror Gallery behind the sofa too. So many fun possibilities.
Large Mirror Entryway — Pinterest
I will be honest with you… I don’t know if this mirror would have caught my eye shopping through say Home Goods… but seeing it here it is pretty awesome. If you have an open hallway that needs some drama but you still want it to look light and airy… a large thick distressed white mirror adorned with a variety of neutral planters and plants on an open type console could be the answer! I love that we get to look at all these different pictures and ideas and sometimes we like something that we didn’t know we did lol!!!
