Now here is an interesting piece that I thought you might find kind of fun! It takes recycling to a new level!
Recycled stuff doesn’t always come cheap and doesn’t always look like recycled. Check out this Sapphire Teapot created by artist Donald Clark from found objects like foil, dice, game pieces, rings and faux jewels to add a jewel touch to the teapot. The uniqueness of this masterpiece makes it perfect for gifting to someone really special in your life. The teapot can be purchased from ArtFulHome
at a cost of $975!
Well I took a little visit over to

There are beauties like this one that was acquired in Paris…she would fit in perfectly in the Shabby Chicest of Homes….
Now just marvel at this Green Goddess in her ornate beauty…just can’t image pouring a cup of earl grey from that rose garnished spout…she was acquired in Florence…
Now here is one that is so sweet…

or how about this one from Pisa…
There are creations that you never thought you would see as teapots like this piece…Dolphin, freen, pink royal blue and gold on gold and great base ridden by a crowned blue robed woman dating back to 1790 France
or…
St. Vincent de Paul from Florence…now there is something I have never imagined as a teapot…

and so many more…it’s like a virtual museum…each piece unique and expressive…this last one to me combines the ancient art of pottery with an Asian reflection but then the hope of the power of wind to supply our earth with natural energy…wonder if that was the artists intent??? What do you see?
Well we have just scratched the surface of the art of the teapot…let’s take a little look at how tea played a role in art just a little bit more…
Mary Cassatt — Five O’Clock Tea Party 1880
