Are you in the mood to check out some vintage and thrifty treasures…looking for some cool features for inspiration…wanting to party? Well you have come to the right place my friends!
It’s time for another Episode of
This weeks budget challenge:
$5.00
We know you like to see what a dollar can buy…so I set the budge really low this week to see what might come back in the house …so here you go!
Well October is coming…
so grab the handle…
fill it up…
and celebrate Octoberfest in traditional style!
$.99 …made in West Germany…it is well made…really sturdy…in perfect condition and ready for some cheer!
Have I ever mentioned that JJ is an Art Director by profession? Well you can see how he was drawn to these vintage tools…
they certainly do have a certain charm…
I don’t know what we would do without computers…advanced technology…a digital way to do just about anything…but it is really interesting and totally fascinating to think of a time when everything was done by hand …how amazing it all was!
Price tag: $.99 reflection on an age gone by…priceless!
Then this little guy marched out of the box…
showing off his ornamentation…
holding his trunk up with pride…
front to back…he had a quirky allure with his little crazed glossy finish…
not to sure where this little charmer is going but I do believe his future looks good!
You guessed it… $.99
YAY…something pink…roses are always a good thing…
clusters and clusters of pretty pink roses…
decorate this oh so pretty 12 inch platter…yes my friends…this vintage beauty was .$99 and I love it!
So where did the change go? I haven’t mentioned that JJ is a bit of a Sci Fi nut…so the remainder of the $5.00 went towards an old old obscure black and white martian movie…(shaking my head! ) lol!!!!
We had some fabulous friends come and party last week…here’s a quick little view…
and…
Then a touch of white…
Check out Simply Chic Treasures
