Welcome everyone to the ALL NEW Down The Rabbit Hole What’s Trending Now! There is something for everyone here! When I was little… my Dad use to go to the Bakery every Sunday Morning after Church. He would get his favorite Coffee Cake and of course treats for my Mom and I. When he came home he would sit at the table (the middle seat not the head) there was more room to spread out there and that is what he did… he had his open newspaper… his coffee cake and of course his coffee. He would literally spend hours there with his favorite newspapers. Well that is what I want the new Down The Rabbit Hole be to you… I would love to see you with your favorite breakfast and your delicious brew just enjoy where this page will lead you. From what is happening in the craft and art world to what’s new in Tv and Movies and everything in between! What is HOT in the world of Art right now? Texture. Artists are using bolder colors and adding tons of texture to their creation that give them even more personality and life. Find out more here. I wish Van Gogh was here to see this trend in full bloom!

CRAFTS
Disco Ball Crafts are hot hot hot and I do believe that @kailochic is at the top of this trends game! Just take a peek throughout her instagram for quick…easy and fabulous disco ball creations! Search Disco Ball Crafts and find a shiny new world of fun things to make!
Coloring Glassware is a Hot Craft too! There are many methods and techniques you can check out. I love how Sarah from Sadie Seasongoods does hers… check it out… it’s quick and easy and oh the possibilities! Just letting you all know… if you want to experiment with the colorization… the Dollar Stores carry a ton of all kinds of clear glass items including tubular bases and much more on the cheap! A good place to start! Loving this trend.
Dried Flower projects are popping up all over! They are beautiful and believe it or not… very easy to do! Come and join Lucy over at Craftberry Bush as she shows you how to dry the blooms and then make something beautiful with them! Search this one to your hearts content… so many possibilities out there!
ENTERTAINMENT
Any Trekkies out there (my hand is waaaaay up in the air)… well there is exciting news on that front… Paramount is giving us yet another NEW Star Trek Series: Star Trek Academy! Can’t wait to see this new group come into the Star Fleet experience! They are saying that it is a “Riverdale” version of Star Trek. Looking forward to this one for sure! I had to say good-bye to all my friends on the 4 Season of Star Trek Discovery so this helps ease the pain! PS… Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will be back in the start of 2025!!! YAY!

What a great Rescue this is… located in Chicago… they are rescuing pets and saving lives 24-7 and they are Angels right here on Earth!!! Please come over and check out everything that happens at this wonderful place. If you live in Chicago… you might even like to volunteer! Of course the take donations 24/7 365 🙂 Here is a little bit about their Mission:

We accomplish this by rescuing animals from overcrowded shelters, placing them in loving forever homes and providing support and resources to pet owners in need.

I know you can’t volunteer if you don’t life close… but check out your towns Shelter or Rescues near you… see if there is anything you can do to help. The smallest of things make a big difference… From donation leashes, collars, food, treats, cleaning supplies, toys, beds and more. They love handmade knitted blanket mats or fabric mats for the cats… they need dog walkers and much more. Maybe there is something you would really like to do!

This is just my suggestion from me personally. For anyone out there that suffers from any heart problems… AFIB… prior heart attack… even if you have had a twinge or get out of breath quickly… DO NOT Drink Energy Drinks of any kind!!! I will leave it at that!
