A HUGE trend in the 2024 Crafting World is DIY Perfume! It’s very interesting and probably a lot of fun coming up with your very own signature scent. WHAT’S COOKING
I am totally in love with this blog… The Vegan Korean, the recipes and the chef! Korean Food has been a part of my life for the last 30 years. My kids have many friends that are Korean and they shared a lot with us! One of Heather’s friends Grandmother gifted me with my first 50 pound bag of rice which she carried to the car!!! That is when I fell in love with sticky short grained sushi rice and have been supplied amply every since! We were using Gochujang decades before it became a thing lol! We eat out of Korean Crocks almost every day (even if it is not Korean food… they keep everything dreamy hot) and there is always a Ricer filled with fresh rice ready and waiting! I have tried to Veganize many of the Korean favorites but to now have this extraordinary lady share her heart and her food… it’s the best! So, if you have wanted to experiment with a Korean Dish or two or three… you are in the right place! Her amazing stories are a bonus!
This is one of my go to favorites. Spicy & Crunch Garlic Tofu (Kkanpoong Tofu) If you love something absolutely delicious, filled with flavor, a little spicy with the aroma and texture of crunch garlic make this tonight! For all the tofu haters out there you don’t know what you are missing 🙂 Don’t forget the stick white rice!
Why not mix things up with a few jars of homemade Korean, Vegan Red Sauce. Trust me, I am Italian and I love my homemade traditional Red Sauce my family has been making for over 100 years but sometimes you like to mix things up a bit! You will be using this for all kinds f culinary creations! Check it out and give it a try!
Now, if you have been wanting to try making your own Kimchi… this is the recipe for The Best Easy Vegan Kimchi Recipe is the one to use! It is amazing and it keeps in the fridge forever tightly sealed but it won’t last that long! She shares everything you need to know abut making Kimchi and then some! Please let me know if you try this!!!

FEATURED RESCUE OF THE WEEK
Home Free Animal Rescue – NJ
What a wonderful small rescue this is! I applaud them for all they do and how they really try to help the furry ones that go under the radar! If you are not aware of it black dogs, black cats are not a popular pick when people are choosing their pets (I have NO IDEA why and it angers me). But it is true! The go out of their way to help those unseen animals… they go the extra yard to find the seniors a perfect home and they treat the breeds such as the wonderful Pitbulls with respect and kindness that they deserve!
A little about what they do and why the do it… please go to their page to read more:
Someday every animal will be cherished and cared for, but right now there are far too many that are not. Sometimes they are abandoned. Sometimes they are relinquished by their owners (for valid reasons or not). Many times their situations are dire, and that’s where we come in. We’ve made it our job to help pets that are in a bad situation but are otherwise good companion animals who just need to find their place in the world.
I know that anything you can do to lend a helping paw to this wonderful group would be greatly appreciated. I know it might not be in your back yard but they help these precious ones that need our help. The smallest donation is always appreciate! It goes towards toys, treats, food, crates, beds, leashes, collars, harnesses, wee wee pads, cleaning supplies and so much more! Let’s help save them all!
Please remember to consider volunteering at your local shelter or a Rescue near you:) If you can’t, maybe run a food drive, donate some supplies, knit blankets, make snuggle blankets, make little cat toys and more! All is appreciated!
