This collection is all about the simple beauty of garden flowers arranged in vintage inspired vessels.
There are daisies, tulips, cosmos and other cheerful blooms gathered into everything from a blue striped crock and glass pitcher to a blue and white teapot and wonderfully worn tin.
The colors move through soft pink, sunny yellow, mint green, blue, coral and cream, so the prints coordinate beautifully without looking too perfectly matched.
They feel collected, casual and wonderfully cottagey… just the way I like things!
Decorating Ideas
- These prints would be absolutely adorable in a kitchen or breakfast nook, especially mixed with pottery, old pitchers, baskets and fresh flowers.
- Hang all six together for a cheerful gallery wall or use two or three above a sideboard, kitchen table or little coffee station.
- The blue and white teapot would look especially pretty near a collection of blue and white dishes. The enamel coffee pot is practically begging for a spot in a cottage kitchen, while the tulips and glass pitcher could easily wander into a bedroom, bathroom or home office.
- For a more collected look, use thrifted frames in white, pale blue, natural wood or soft vintage gold.
- You could even display one of the prints beside a similar real vessel. Imagine the teapot print beside an old blue and white teapot filled with flowers… so pretty!
Create a Cottage Gallery Wall
If you want to display all six, you could arrange them three across and two down for a wider wall or two across and three down for a narrow space.
Matching frames will give the gallery a cleaner look, while mismatched thrifted frames will make it feel as though the collection grew over time.
I think both would be beautiful.
You could also mix the artwork with a small plate, basket or vintage botanical piece to create an even more collected cottage wall.
Printing Tips
For the prettiest results, I recommend printing on heavyweight matte white paper, smooth card stock or matte presentation paper.
The matte finish works especially well with these designs because it helps preserve that soft hand painted look.
Choose Actual Size or 100% Scale in your printer settings so the artwork prints at the proper 5×7 or 8×10 dimensions.
Use the Best or High Quality setting whenever possible to keep all those pretty pinks, blues, greens and yellows looking crisp.
The PDF files are perfect for easy home printing, while the JPG files are convenient if you would rather use a local print shop.
If you are framing the artwork behind glass, matte paper is my favorite because it makes the finished print feel more like a little original painting.
Where to Use Them
These would be lovely in a kitchen, dining room, breakfast nook, bedroom, bathroom, craft room or home office.
They are colorful enough to brighten a room but soft enough to mix with pieces you already own.
And because they are not tied to one particular season, you can enjoy them all year long.
