For a more collected cottage look, mix several frame finishes rather than making everything perfectly match. A thrifted wood frame beside an aged brass frame can make the gallery feel as though it came together slowly over time.

Create a Moody Fall Gallery Wall

If you are using all six prints, I especially love the idea of arranging them two prints across and three down.

Keep the spacing fairly close so the collection reads as one gallery.

You could use all 8×10 prints for more impact or use the 5×7 versions if you are decorating a smaller wall, hallway or cozy little nook.

A few branches or dried flowers nearby would tie the whole display together beautifully without making it feel overdecorated.

Printing Tips

For the prettiest results, print your artwork on heavyweight matte white or warm white paper. A smooth card stock or matte presentation paper will help the vintage textures and deeper colors look especially rich.

Choose Actual Size or 100% Scale in your printer settings so your artwork prints at the correct 5×7 or 8×10 dimensions.

Use your printer’s Best or High Quality setting whenever possible, especially for the raven, moth and moonlit landscape where the darker details are important.

The PDF files are wonderful for quick home printing, while the JPG files are convenient if you prefer sending the artwork to a local print shop.

If your home printer tends to make dark artwork look muddy, a professional or office print shop may give you better definition in the blacks, greens and deep Autumn shades.

Why These Work Beyond Halloween

There is definitely a slightly mysterious feeling to this collection, but it never becomes specifically Halloween.
